The house is available for the full and private use of guests. Amenities include: pellet stove, dish washer, clothes washer/dryer, open balcony and sun-room with big bay windows overlooking the beach on Indian Harbor. Semi-private beach adjacent to public beach. Small boat available suitable for harbour and coastal excursions.

Port Bickerton Lighthouse
About 20 minutes away, since 1997, it has also been the site of the Nova Scotia Lighthouse Interpretive Centre, which is open on a seasonal basis to offer information to visitors about the history of the Port Bickerton Lighthouse and Nova Scotia’s rich maritime lighthouse tradition.
Beginning in May, 2014, the newly-renovated lightkeeper’s residence on site will be operated as an artist retreat.
Festival Antigonish Summer Theater.
Runs every night except Sunday in July and August.
Main stage plays in 2014 are: Be My Baby, Motor Trade and Venus in Fur.
Chedabucto Bay Brewing Company
The Chedabucto Bay Brewing Company carries on the centuries old tradition of craft brewing in Nova Scotia. Nicholas Denys' Guysborough brewing operation started in the mid 1600s and is believed to be among the first commercial breweries in North America! Located in the Rare Bird Pub, the Chedabucto Bay Brewery carries on this brewing heritage with three unique beers brewed to the specifications of the Bavarian Purity Act using deep artesian well. Kitchen ceilidhs are Saturday nights. If you don't know what a ceilidh (kay-lee) is, we suggest going Saturday night to find out.
Some of the finest songwriters and performers in North America gather at this festival, to celebrate Stan's lasting contributions to folk music.
