This is the perfect place to relax by the pool, or use as a base to explore the many interesting places to visit.
There are signposted footpaths from outside the front gate and from the village leading you on lovely scenic routes.
The nearest amenities are in the neighbouring village of Barxeta which is 5 kms away, and a 15 min drive takes you to the bustling town of Xativa which has everything you need.
Aside from the train station in Xativa, in the nearby village of Lenova, about 10 minutes away, is another station with a large car park, where many people depart for Valencia, to avoid the parking problems of Xativa. The trains run very frequently and cost around 7 euros to Valencia with a 45 minute journey.

Open plan kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle gas hob. All crockery, glasses pots etc that you would need for your stay.
There is also a cold box and ice packs available for a lovely pic-nic.
All towels and linen provided. Beach towels also provided in order to save your luggage space.
There is no washing machine in the apartment but the owner will do laundry if needed.

The nearest beaches are 30 minutes away at Tavernes de Valldigna. However, the entire coast both north and south from Tavernes is essentially one long beach, except for the breaks caused by ports or marinas, so there's a spot to suit everyone's personal tastes.
Golf enthusiasts are catered for at La Galiana, 25 minutes away by car. Slightly further are Oliva Nova Golf near Gandia, La Sella near Denia and El Bosque on the edge of Valencia.
How to get there
Valencia airport is closest, at around 45 minutes. Alicante airport is around 75 minutes. There are frequent and inexpensive trains from Valencia to Xativa or Lenova. Driving down from the UK, Santander is 8 hours, Bilbao 7 hours, the French border at La Jonquera 6 hours.

Basic shopping can be done in the village of Barxeta.
Xativa has everything a large town has to offer including a wide variety of restaurants, entertainment and sporting facilities and shops. The old town has narrow winding streets with historical sights and a picturesque market square which comes alive at night . The castle is well worth a visit and is perched high up on the hill overlooking the town with magnifiecent views of the surrounding countryside.
