This charming, brick-built single storey terraced cottage is set in a peaceful location and sleeps up to three people in comfort. This was the first time myself and my dog stayed at Bishop`s Cottage, Skinningrove, and I was delighted. The cottage was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
I love Skinningrove, and I have visited there many times, as I have friends in Loftus. It isn`t the prettiest place, but is unspoilt and it has interesting history. I love the beaches; the people are friendly and I notice that they are trying hard to enhance one or two areas , especially involving local children in `pride of Skinningrove` I definitely will return. A wonderful complex situated on the quiet side of the village. The cottage was clean and well designed. The surronding area is beautifull and the adjacent iron mine is a must visit place.
Down side is that there is not a decent pub within walking distance.
“A very welcoming and superb cottage, with many extras”

We would gladly recomment this cottage to anyone. It cottage was superbly clean and comfortable, with many added extras on arrival. Our dog was very welcome, and the short walk to the dog friendly beach was completed twice a day much to the delight of the dog, who loves beaches. We will certainly be visiting one of Sykes Cottages again in the near future.
