The cottage was built in 1842 and has recently been completely refurbished. Externally in period character with leaded windows etc. Internally with a modern style and facilities; appliances and gas fired central heating etc. but with traditional features such as the reclaimed oak mantelpiece, traditional fireplace and wood burning stove.

The cottage is compact but offers adequate accommodation for 4 plus an infant. It has a lounge/diner/kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms, walk in wardrobes and a bathroom upstairs.

Snettisham is a most attractive village on the shores of the Wash, comprising a pleasant blend of old and pretty carrstone cottages and newer homes. It has its own beach from which you can sail, windsurf or swim.

In the village there are local shops, and pubs which serve excellent food. One of the notable pubs is the Rose and Crown, which has won many awards including the prestigious Norfolk Dining Pub of the Year 2012. Snettisham offers something for everyone, no matter your age, no matter the weather. It is handily placed for the larger traditional holiday resort of Hunstanton to the North and the old town of King's Lynn to the South.

For the shoppers Burnham Market offers high quality shopping in a Georgian setting while Swaffham boasts its attractive triangular market place which on Saturdays hosts its famous open-air market and public auction.

From Snettisham it is an easy drive to the visitor attractions in the neighbouring counties, Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket and the Duxford Imperial War Museum with its unique aircraft collection to name but a few.
