16th Century Coaching Inn in rural Somerset, UK

The Rose and Crown Inn is located in the centre of Nether Stowey, at the foot of the Quantock Hills, Britains first 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The village was once home to the Romantic Poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and his cottage - now a National Trust property - is just 200 yards along the street. No doubt Coleridge and his friend William Wordsworth have drunk in our bar!

The Inn has one en-suite double room; one en-suite twin room; and our Family Suite, comprising one double room, one twin room and a bathroom. All the rooms have flat screen TV's, tea and coffee making facilities, clock radios, hairdryers and complimentary toiletries.
