Villino delle Arance is a welcoming independent house surrounded by the greenery. It sleeps four people. It is appoximately 50 square meters (540 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be at a short distance from the center of Sant'Agnello di Sorrento , where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation and the beach. You will find the stop for the EAV bus Sorrento Marina Piccola (porto) - Sorrento stazione - Sant'Agnello line at 50 meters (165 feet). You will reach Villino delle Arance from the parking area along a short private walkway that cuts through the garden.
You will not need a car to stay at Villino delle Arance. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a reserved parking space.
Originally, Villino delle Arance was the annex of an ancient eighteenth-century villa, which was made up by a main building that stands by the road and by a garden on the back of the building. Villino delle Arance is located at the far end of the garden. Although the villa is far enough from the road, because of its central location on busy days some noise from the traffic can be expected.
The garden is fenced by a wall made of tuff, according to the ancient customs of the area, and short tuff walls outline a sinuous path that cuts through the garden and leads to the house. The evergreen leaves of the thick citrus trees and of a big walnut tree give shade to the patio on the front of the house and hide it from the view.
If you vist in May, you will found the orange and mandarin trees blooming, and the air full of their stirring perfume. During the fall and the winter you will find the same trees full of delicious fruits for you to help yourself. Have you ever had the chance to enjoy breakfast with an orange that you just picked up from the tree with your own hands? At Villino delle Arance you will be able to do that every morning! All year round you will also be able to enjoy the fruits and the flowers of the lemon tree, generous just like this land, where it thrives.
You will reach the swimming pool from the garden going up approximately four stairway steps. The pool is 4.5 meters (14.8 feet) large by 6 meters (20 feet) long, 1.6 meters (5.2 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella, two deck chairs, two sun loungers and an external shower. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the beginning of October.
The garden is 300 square meters (3230 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch and by citrus trees. It is equipped with a table and chairs.
The furnishings of the living room are classic and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. There is an elegant fireplace. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a flat-screen television. From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through two French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe.
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the garden. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a hydromassage shower and a hairdryer. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board.

If you are looking for wonderful customer service, an inviting and warm atmosphere, then my family recommends you stay at Villino delle Arance. Although on a busy street, it is conveniently located for a variety of excursions around the region. We did rent a car for an Amalifi Coast Trip and the owner was very accomodating in helping us to keep our rental car on the property site. The master bed was a little hard, but not unbearable. However, the Villa is wonderful, modern and very clean. The pool and grounds were spectacular and offered a wonderful retreat from a long day of sight seeing.

we spent a lovely time at Villino delle Arance. Our 2 boys liked the pool- we liked the beautiful garden with the lemon trees. I think, it?s one of the best places of Sorrento.
You need no car- the owner picked us up at the train station.
You can go by train to Pompeji, to Vesuv, ..
and you can go by boat to Capri and Amalfi coast.
Serafina and Francesco are the friendliest owners we have ever seen.

Villino delle Arance is a little gem of a villa. my partner and I had a wonderful two weeks there and would recommend it to anybody.
The villa itself is modern and well constructed. There was plenty of space for the two of us and it was very well equipped.
The real joy though was the outdoor area. The garden is beautifully set out and was full of flowers when we visited. The pool was great to use during the hot weather and was bigger somehow than we had expected!
We were within walking distance of shops and restaurants and although the villa was quite near to a road there was very little noise and none at all inside the villa.
The owners were kind and helpful, there when we needed them but never intrusive. Summerinitaly were a great company to use - we're renting again with them in 2009!

The Villa suited my husband and I as it was clean, had all the appliances we required and was comfortable. When we didn't go out to one of the local restaurants for an evening meal we enjoyed relaxing in the beatiful garden of orange and lemon trees and in the small swimming pool. We were hardly aware that there was a busy road outside the gates which led directly into the centre of Sorrento. However, there were quieter routes to walk to the centre (20/25 minutes) and the house was located about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Apart from having nightly disturbing dreams while there, for whatever reason, I have no hesitation in recommending The Villa Arance.
