Sotira is a fantastic place to stay where you can experience the real Cyprus, a food lovers paradise, there are five local tavernas/restaurants serving the traditional mezes to fine mediteranean al-a-carte, all reasonable priced and all within walking distance so you can leave the car and enjoy a few glasses of the local winse. The village is busy all year round as it is a local village, so is ideal for winter sun as nothing closes. There is a new park just opened with climbing frames, slides, swings, bouncy castle, table football, pool table complete with snack bar selling soft and alcoholic drinks, ideal for parents to have a nice relaxing drink while the kids play.
It is located 5 minutes from the A3 motorway allowing good access to all areas of the island. It is a 40 minute drive to laranca airport, 1 hour to the capital Nicosia. The nearest beach Ayia Thekla is a 5 minute drive, it is 10 minutes to the water park in Ayia Napa and the world famous Nissi beach, head East and you are 5 minutes from paralimini where there are plenty of shops and supermarkets. Protaras is a further five minutes drive, so there is plenty to see and do.
Have just come back from a fantastic weeks holiday with my four teenage children. The villa and location was perfect for all the different age groups. The villa had its own pool plus TV, playstation and ipod docking station which was a great bonus. The older kids were able to go out in Aya Napa in the evenings as it was close enough for a taxi ride home or we could take a five minute walk into the village and eat at one of the local Tavarnas and enjoy a drink without the worry of driving. There were many different sandy beaches and a constant welcome breeze off the sea which was needed as the weather was hot and predictable. There was loads to do and the kids loved all the water sports and with so many different beaches to chose from, each day was very different. I would throughly recommend this villa if it is a family holiday you want that allows you the security and peace from all the crowds. Mrs E Wynne-Morgan. Thorpe Bay, Essex

Spent 10 fabulous days at the villa with another couple. We spent half of our days lazing round the pool and the others exploring the local beaches or cities of Larnaca, Nicosia and Famagusta which are all full of history. The villa was perfect for us as it is spacious so we both had our own double rooms and bathrooms. The pool is ideal particularly for my wife who is scared of water, but as it was a nice depth she felt confident enough to venture in and cool off. The village was lovely and had everything you need, a large CO-OP supermarket and an abundance of bakeries for fresh breads and cakes which we indulged in each day. We ate out at 3 of the local tavernas Ploumin, Vasilikos and Simos where his family made us very welcome and the food was excellent, huge portions and value for money. All in all a perfect holiday!

The property has it all. A close proximity to the main residential areas and tourist spot is what should put this property and the town of Sotira on the map. The map on this website will mislead you into thinking its quite far off from the hot spots of Protaras and Ayia Napa. Being Cypriots we knew the distances are very small. One would nevertheless need a car to get around so renting one for your stay is advisable. However this isn't a downside since you would be unable to enjoy the beauty of our island if you only see the area around the tourist spots (I would personally advise against that). A sat-nav is also advisable unless you have driven in the region before.
The Villa sits in a small holiday development at the edge of Sotira close to the Paralimni lake. This means its a very serene location with the benefit of having shops very close by in Sotira. The Villa is complete with top of the range amenities and equipment to facilitate a large group on a long stay. We particularly enjoyed our time in the pool and bbq while we also made use of the amazing entertainment suite that comes with the package. The property is maintained on a daily basis by a maintenance company run by a UK family staying in Sotira. They were very friendly and helpful with all and the villa was kept at an excellent state - very clean, very tidy. The owner was also very helpful and responded promptly to all our questions.

On arrival the villa was immaculate and like a home away from home, boasting all the mod-cons everything has been thought of & catered for. The villa is spacious with a nice patio area perfect for alfresco dining & a private pool with loungers which was great on the days we didn’t fancy doing anything.
The location is great and offered the best of both worlds. Sotira where the villa is located is a charming Cypriot village, laidback with traditional taverns offering amazing local food, enough bars and shops to keep you busy but not overrun. Ayia Nappa is within easy reach for the livelier days/nights out & a trip out around the historical sights of nearby Larnaca is worthwhile. The beach is a short 5 minute drive, it’s not surrounded by hotels so is fairly quite in comparison to some of the crowded beaches further down the cost. With a little Tavern for snacks, supplies and cheeky mid-day beers! Its very easy to relax and lose the day there.
Overall I was very pleased with the what the holiday had to offer and would highly recommend a stay here.

My Wife, 2 children (7 & 9) and I have stayed in this villa on two separate occasions, once in August 2010 and the other in May 2011 we cannot rate this villa high enough. From the communication with the owner which he is highly efficient on any contact to the fabulous villa. The villa itself is new with very high quality fixtures and fittings and it is really is better than home from home! There is not one thing we could say we did not like everything is top class and we would move there with no issue!! The private pool is so clean and inviting. The management couple who live onsite are from the UK and they are the most nicest people you could meet, they are there to make everything perfect from start to finish and they work so hard to keep the little estate clean and tidy it sparkles! Sotira is a lovely little cypriot village with everything you could possible want, you must try the croissants in the Euro Bakery which is a leisurely 5-10 minute stroll (there is a closer bakery around the corner but we prefer the Euro Bakery), there are many nice places to eat also our favourite being Old Simos, fantastic food, large portions and cheap and the welcome you get from Simo and his family are second to none! If you want to venture out in the car Ayia Napa is just 10 minutes away. Overall we love the villa and will be back in the near future.
