This was an ideal rental for us. We were down for Marines graduation and this location is clean, well kept and very close to the base. The rooms are nice size, and the beds very comfortable. A second bathroom would be desirable, but I would stay here again even without one.

First, the pros. This home/apartment is conveniently located to Beaufort and Parris Island, but it is in a residential community with a lot of other units nearby. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pots, etc (except for a strainer for pasta). It can accommodate 6 people in a relatively small space. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and towels provided.
But -- here come the cons.
There appeared to be a faint smell of cat pee in one of the bedrooms. The fan in the bathroom is so loud that I worried I would wake up the person in the room across from it if I used it. But far and away the biggest problem is the paper thin wall separating the two units. I was against a wall with a girl singing next door. I could hear every word she said or sang. Word. For. Word. And it wasn't as though she was being crazy-loud. This wouldn't be a problem if the wall were shared by the living rooms or kitchen-- but it's the bedroom walls that share.
Finally (and this would be easily fixed by giving renters a 'map' of the road/parking lot) it's difficult to find the appropriate parking for your car. It's actually a side road leading off of the main road that it states the unit is on.

We were very close to Parris Island's main gate, literally 5 min away on the Gateway. The house itself was nice and clean and a good value for a family, as opposed to renting 2 hotel rooms. Just like being at home, we were very relaxed while at the house. My only complaint is about the decor. While all very nice decorations...I just have 3 words...less is more, lol! I put a few things away so as not to feel claustrophobic. You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Hilton Head was about 45 min away, but not a bad drive at all. And it's close to good restaurants in Beaufort. Try to go downtown to eat, nice places down there, easy parking and a beautiful waterfront park for walking afterwards or just relaxing on the swings looking over the river.Very nice quaint town.

This was the perfect house, unassuming on the outside, but pretty on the inside and comfortable. Neighborhood was nice and quiet; and great for after dinner walks. So close to our Marine graduate that we beat the traffic from the hotels in Beaufort and got great parking on the base! Thank you so much!
