“Second Time Around” This was our 2nd stay at Ocean One 402. I am sorry to say this year the condo was the total opposite of last year in regards to cleanliness. We vacuumed as soon as we arrived and the furniture was thick with dust in every room. The bedspreads were very soiled, and carpet in living room was in dire need of scrubbing. Last year the place was immaculate.

“Very nice with extra touches.” Mr. Johnny has thought of everything. From trash bags to paper towels to toilet tissue, it's all there. These are things you typically have to buy on your own, so it's nice that he provides them. The place is nice and the view is great. Really enjoyed my stay.

“Great get away” We brought our dog and 2 children (11 and 15). The bedrooms were the right size for us. There was enough seating for lounging. Bathrooms could have been bigger but the storage in the full bath was great. Most other rentals we have used in the past had a bigger board game and book selection. The golf cart was very useful for exploring and Pokemon hunting.

“Exceeded Our Expectations” We rented this condo for 5 nights starting on Labor Day. My husband and I arrived at the rental office early (1:15 pm) and we were able to move into the condo 30 minutes later. Seashore Vacations was great to work with. They were professional and very customer oriented and accommodating. The condo was very clean and had a remodeled kitchen and new living room furniture. The Master Bedroom overlooks the ocean and pool with its own balcony and 2 chairs. The main balcony is accessed through the Living Room and had seating for 6. We loved the ocean and pool views from both. The bathrooms looked like they too had been recently updated. They supplied enough paper products and soaps that the only thing we had to purchase was regular dish washing detergent. There was a ton of storage space throughout the condo. They even had chairs and floats for the ocean or pool. We did purchase an umbrella at the nearby Piggly Wiggly to use on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We liked the layout of the condo with the Kitchen and Living Room on one side and both bedrooms and bathrooms on the other side. The Master Bedroom had a huge closet and more hangers than we needed. The pool and ocean were both a short walk - the access to both were just off the elevator. The pool was right below our condo and the beach right beyond the pool. The beach was clean and big enough that we were never crowded. There were showers between the ocean and pool area to wash off sand. The pool was cleaned and treated every morning and was delightful! Housekeeping did a great job and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The only minor issue was the closet door in the foyer which was difficult to open and close (maybe because of all the sand - this was where the beach chairs and floats were stored). But this was really no big deal. We would definitely return to Ocean One and stay at Unit 409.

“Beautiful ocean front getaway” This is a hidden gem as far as resorts. You can't get closer to the ocean for this price. A lil small and dated but perfect for my wife and I on our weekend getaway. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again!! Gated community,on site eating options and a beach front bar are just a few of the perks. Doesnt get much better for the price!!

“Perfect location for a great vacation” I have traveled to Folly Island many times and find the condo at Turn of River perfect. The location makes it easy to travel to Charleston for great restaurants, tours or shopping. Even better, the convenience to live music, bars, restaurants and the beach on Folly Island itself is great. Everything Folly has to offer is accessible by walking, bike riding or when you are lugging beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. parking your car near the beach is very easy (and free). The condo itself is very spacious giving everyone their own privacy and bathroom yet the opportunity to be together. The kitchen is brand new, making cooking very pleasurable after being out all day. The location, size and cleanliness of the condo makes traveling to it year after year very enjoyable for myself and my family. There is so much to do in the area, and being a recreational golfer, we have tried many local beautiful courses, all of which are a reasonable drive from the condo. I highly recommend this condo whether you are traveling with your spouse, family, or friends - there is something nearby for everyone, even if it's sitting on the condo's patio to watch dolphin swim in the River.

“Clean & Great Value” We had a wonderful time in Pawleys Island and the condo was terrific. It was spacious, open, comfortable and clean! The enclosed porch and view were spectacular. The unit was very quiet. We enjoyed the pool and bath house the last day and again the whole facility was well manicured and clean; something very important to us.

“Cozy and beautiful beach condo” This condo at Mar Vista Grande is beautiful, right on North Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed our week stay. Anna,the owner was very responsive to all of my questions and emails. She was Lovely to deal with. I told her carpet had stains on it when we arrived, and she is going to replace the flooring. There is no iron or ironing board, so you would need to bring your own. Washer and dryer worked great. There is supposed to be no smoking throughout the entire condo building including pool area and balconies which we like because we are not smokers. People staying in condo to the right of us, 1206 smoked daily on their balcony. We couldn't sit outside on our balcony because of it. The beach was wonderful. We bought boogie boards and spent hours riding the waves. You can rent an umbrella and two beach chairs for five days from the local Myrtle Beach company for $125. A lot of people smoking cigarettes and cigars were on the beach all day long!! It was very annoying to try to relax and enjoy the beach with the smokers. Once your beach equipment you rent is put there, you are stuck when people who smoke set up in front of you and behind you. Mar Vista has a little bar hut that served beer but no liquor. So when we ordered Pina coladas for $8.00 each we were not told about no rum in them until after drinking them. They are served with white wine. My husband asked what rum they used and they said none. We wouldn't have ordered them if they would have been honest from the beginning. You can get a regular Pina colada for $5. The indoor pool was great when we needed relief from the sun. We spent time at Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach. Both are nearby and have activities for all. Both had awesome fireworks! Overall we would recommend this condo.

“Definitely "YES"” We stayed in this beautiful condo for 4 nights at the end of September. It is located in very nice and secured place. The view from screened porch was great. We spend a lot of time there. The condo was great prepared for guests. I was very happy to find this condo, because I had my mom visiting us from Europe.

“Marvelous, Relaxing Place/Gracious Owner” I cannot say enough complimentary things about this condo, its location, its condition, and most of all its owner. We had checked with Susan, the owner, about renting one of her places. When she had a late cancellation of the beach condo, she called US. Gave us great price, great arrival/departure leeway, accepted numerous phone calls and was SO gracious each time. The location is great, the beach/weather was marvelous. Very easy trip to Historic Charleston. We cannot wait to go back and will definitely check with Susan FIRST!!

“Wonderful long weekend” We were welcomed by a clean open living space overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Comfortable double sofa's with great light for reading and watching the ducks on the lagoon. Televisions in every room allowed for individual choice while resting in comfortable beds. Rooms are decorated with a soft beach feel and kitchen offers all needed cookware. It was perfect for the four of us to walk to the beach and to enjoy the delightful shopping and dining in Charleston and Mt Pleasant. We'll be back soon!

“Quiet relaxation” We absolutely loved our stay! The condo is on the third floor, so there’s great views of the grounds, and a walking path to the ocean and pier. The Plantation was extremely quiet, and the people we did come across were welcoming and friendly. The condo was clean, cozy, stocked with necessary kitchen and even toiletries for the bathroom! That was a pleasant surprise. We spent most of our time sitting on the screened porch listening to the fountains and birds. The owner is very responsive to texts and emails. We definitely recommend this as a vacation spot, and will be back.
