“Second Time Around” This was our 2nd stay at Ocean One 402. I am sorry to say this year the condo was the total opposite of last year in regards to cleanliness. We vacuumed as soon as we arrived and the furniture was thick with dust in every room. The bedspreads were very soiled, and carpet in living room was in dire need of scrubbing. Last year the place was immaculate.

“Exceeded Our Expectations” We rented this condo for 5 nights starting on Labor Day. My husband and I arrived at the rental office early (1:15 pm) and we were able to move into the condo 30 minutes later. Seashore Vacations was great to work with. They were professional and very customer oriented and accommodating. The condo was very clean and had a remodeled kitchen and new living room furniture. The Master Bedroom overlooks the ocean and pool with its own balcony and 2 chairs. The main balcony is accessed through the Living Room and had seating for 6. We loved the ocean and pool views from both. The bathrooms looked like they too had been recently updated. They supplied enough paper products and soaps that the only thing we had to purchase was regular dish washing detergent. There was a ton of storage space throughout the condo. They even had chairs and floats for the ocean or pool. We did purchase an umbrella at the nearby Piggly Wiggly to use on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We liked the layout of the condo with the Kitchen and Living Room on one side and both bedrooms and bathrooms on the other side. The Master Bedroom had a huge closet and more hangers than we needed. The pool and ocean were both a short walk - the access to both were just off the elevator. The pool was right below our condo and the beach right beyond the pool. The beach was clean and big enough that we were never crowded. There were showers between the ocean and pool area to wash off sand. The pool was cleaned and treated every morning and was delightful! Housekeeping did a great job and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The only minor issue was the closet door in the foyer which was difficult to open and close (maybe because of all the sand - this was where the beach chairs and floats were stored). But this was really no big deal. We would definitely return to Ocean One and stay at Unit 409.

“Beautiful ocean front getaway” This is a hidden gem as far as resorts. You can't get closer to the ocean for this price. A lil small and dated but perfect for my wife and I on our weekend getaway. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again!! Gated community,on site eating options and a beach front bar are just a few of the perks. Doesnt get much better for the price!!

“Cozy and beautiful beach condo” This condo at Mar Vista Grande is beautiful, right on North Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed our week stay. Anna,the owner was very responsive to all of my questions and emails. She was Lovely to deal with. I told her carpet had stains on it when we arrived, and she is going to replace the flooring. There is no iron or ironing board, so you would need to bring your own. Washer and dryer worked great. There is supposed to be no smoking throughout the entire condo building including pool area and balconies which we like because we are not smokers. People staying in condo to the right of us, 1206 smoked daily on their balcony. We couldn't sit outside on our balcony because of it. The beach was wonderful. We bought boogie boards and spent hours riding the waves. You can rent an umbrella and two beach chairs for five days from the local Myrtle Beach company for $125. A lot of people smoking cigarettes and cigars were on the beach all day long!! It was very annoying to try to relax and enjoy the beach with the smokers. Once your beach equipment you rent is put there, you are stuck when people who smoke set up in front of you and behind you. Mar Vista has a little bar hut that served beer but no liquor. So when we ordered Pina coladas for $8.00 each we were not told about no rum in them until after drinking them. They are served with white wine. My husband asked what rum they used and they said none. We wouldn't have ordered them if they would have been honest from the beginning. You can get a regular Pina colada for $5. The indoor pool was great when we needed relief from the sun. We spent time at Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach. Both are nearby and have activities for all. Both had awesome fireworks! Overall we would recommend this condo.

“Myrtle Beach” Beautiful condo!! A bit chilly but we had a great time in the heated pools and walls on the beach. Very clean and updated. Sarah was just a text away if you needed any help. Would deffinatly return. If you get a chance visit Inlet plantation to horse back ride on an island on the ocean. A experience of a lifetime.

“502 review” Overall very good. Nice pool and convenient to ocean and Coligny. However, read in an earlie review one bathroom shower did not drain properly. Was told it was fixed but it is not. Dining room chairs much too big for area -- awkward and couldn't get around table when all seated.

“Most perfect place to stay” We cannot begin to tell you about the amazing time we had in Hilton Head Island! At first arrival we were so impressed with your Villa and the location. It was more than perfect for our family. It gave us all the flexibility of enjoying kid and adult activities simultaneously. We thoroughly enjoyed the close proximity to the beautiful beach and the accessibility was priceless with two little ones. We enjoyed some of the restaurants in Shelter Cove and especially the live music from your extra large balcony. Your Villa is a gem and we can tell why you fell in love with Hilton Head Island. “The house was simply amazing, and there was plenty of space for everyone.” The house was very well kept and clean. It was very large and all 16 of us fit easily The pool was wonderful, and it was so close to the beach. It was a huge bonus to have a full bathroom right off of the pool area. There were great views of the ocean from many parts of the house, even for second row.

“Great vacation house!” We stayed here this weekend from Friday-Monday, and I can't express enough how've amazing the house was! It is in the perfect location and the house was in perfect condition, and the pool in the backyard was the perfect addition! “Fantastic view, incredibly clean, well stocked, comfortable, and a GREAT owner to deal with.” I think the headline says it all, but here's a little more detail. This was absolutely the cleanest condo/hotel/motel/home we've ever stayed in. The owner really, really, gives you a place you can call home for your vacation. It's like you're staying at the home of a good friend who thought of everything for your comfort and enjoyment. If it weren't for Penny, I probably wouldn't write this, because I want to keep this gem to ourselves. But for anyone who works this hard to provide such a wonderful place, well, I had to. How many times have you walked into a condo and see that's it not really dirty, but it's not really clean ? How many times have you run out of toiletries, not even an extra garbage bag left for you, no laundry or dishwasher detergent available ? Every single rental we've had, we had to make a shopping list of all the toiletries we'll need for the week. NOT HERE. Except for the food, obviously, EVERYTHING you could need or want IS PROVIDED. This is a very, very thoughtful owner. With new tv's, appliances, beautiful upgrades, you will not want to leave. The view is absolutely gorgeous. In Palmetto Dunes, the vegetation and trees have really grown, so unless you get an unobstructed view like this 5th floor provides, you'll never see the ocean. At the risk of repeating, the condo smelled great, and was just incredibly clean. I don't know about you, but an unclean rental can just ruin your vacation. The first minute we walked in, we knew we were going to have a great week. Ok, my sales pitch is over, lest I share this secret with everyone. Yes, the 5 star reviews are for real, it's well deserved. Thanks again Penny, and we'll see you on our next trip to the island.
