“Great get away” We brought our dog and 2 children (11 and 15). The bedrooms were the right size for us. There was enough seating for lounging. Bathrooms could have been bigger but the storage in the full bath was great. Most other rentals we have used in the past had a bigger board game and book selection. The golf cart was very useful for exploring and Pokemon hunting.

“Wonderful Wonderful Experience” Wonderful place to stay. We want to stay at Blue Heaven next year. My family of 7 had a great time. Our dogs loved the fenced area. Great beach access. Wish there was more seating area in the living room.

“A great place to stay!” FAMILY TIME.....It was great to gather here with family. We had 3 houses all together for our family. The pool was the central gathering place. The wi-fi was out for 2 days...still out when we left. A storm filled the pool with leaves and debris.....for 2 days. Couldn't use either for 2 days.

“Right by the ocean” Nice place, due to proximity to the ocean. Nothing fancy, older house, but certainly adequate. Best part was big front porch with lots of rockers, & a table & chairs where we played games. Also, a private boardwalk out to the ocean. Second floor has a much better view, but downstairs is still a good place for the money.

“Our family had a wonderful time! Joyce's Place was perfect for” Joyce's Place is, as others have mentioned, a bit dated, but the space is great for a large group, the location right on the ocean is perfect, and the sun room is a fabulous place to look out on the ocean in comfort. It turned out to be a great place for my two youngest grandchildren to play. Having the bedroom area closed off worked well also. This place reminded us of when we used to vacation in Litchfield when my children were young. We had six adults and five children and were very comfortable. Negatively, the ants were still in the kitchen and the aC needed help from all the many ceiling fans.

“Life is a Beach” We love Edisto Beach.We always stay in a house during May & September.I also camp at the State Park about four times a year.We really ejoy the house we've rented for the past two years,and will stay there many more times.The people are courteous,friendly and of course if you are at Edisto beach you are happy.

“The view from the deck was addictive all times of day.” Our week at Edisto in the Deann cottage was just what I'd hoped for--beautiful view, easy beach access, flat beach with no breakwaters, comfortable sitting area, and best of all, the quiet. No dune buggies, no loud parties, no noise at all, except surf and birds. Not even any airplanes! The weather could not have been better: sunny and warm, but not hot. Our guests were comfortable on the extra beds in the living area, and our dogs had a good time too, walking on the beach. I wanted to stay longer. One thing I would change is the bedside lamp in the smaller of the two bedrooms. The lampshade is taped on with scotch tape, and the bulb was too dim for reading. Actually, the bulbs in all the lamps were pretty dim. My eyes need brighter lights. And some of the stove eyes did not work. I don't remember if we turned in a sheet mentioning that. Otherwise the kitchen was fine. When we first arrived the house smelled very strongly of perfumed cleaner, but fortunately the smell faded quickly. All considered, this was a very pleasant vacation and I hope we can come back next year--maybe not to this same cottage, but something similar.
