My husband-to-be (at the time), our kids and myself rented this house for our wedding week/weekend. We were so excited and couldn't wait to spend it in this highly recommended and awesome house. We arrived on a Thursday, around 4. When we got to the house we were elated that the pictures didn't do the outside complete justice, it was beautiful. When we got inside, my jaw dropped! The carpet was disgusting!! I was shocked that the management company actual rented a place out like this, let alone for the amount of money they charge. I was so disappointed and outraged. The kids were stoked. It had room, after room of excitement, for them. They wanted to kick their shoes off and start the fun. However, I didn't allow that. It looked like someone had puked, or spilt something going down the stairs. The living room stains were covered by a large rug. Every bedroom had significant stains. I will say the kitchen appeared very clean, with newer appliances. I called the management company and told them this is not what I paid for and that something needed to be done. They were extremely accommodating. Thankfully, there were similar homes available. I don't know what we would've done if there hadn't been. I will say the other house we did end up getting was 10 times cleaner. I asked the management company why they don't replace the carpet, especially with just the amount of money they make off a non-holiday, non-seasonal weekend. Their answer was that it is an on-going issue with the owners.
Sooo here's my ultimate recommendation for this house: its definitely roomy, nice, and plenty of indoor activities (if need be). However, I would ask if the carpet has been replaced since September 2013, not just cleaned, replaced. Cleaning obviously is a temporary solution, and the spots come right back up once completely dry. Other than the extremely stained carpet issue, our experience with Lake Tahoe Vacation rentals was an a+.
We are sorry that your experience was not as you expected. Unfortunately at the end of a busy summer season the carpets were in need of cleaning. The light color does take a beating but once professionally cleaned, it is fresh and inviting once again - this was scheduled just last week! At the end of the season, it all comes down to scheduling, working between reservations to accommodate the cleaning - and I truly wish this could have occurred prior to your arrival. :( We appreciate your business and glad that we were able to provide you with an A+ experience in Lake Tahoe.
“Great cabin in great location”

We had 6 people staying in this cabin for 2 nights and had a awesome time! Cabin was huge for us 6. This cabin could probably have fit 8-10 easy. I personally loved the outside deck. We used the BBQ as we relaxed on the chairs and jacuzzi. The game room downstairs was Unbelieveable!!! Huge TV, huge comfy couch with a nice pool table! We spent most of our time there. Foosball table was also a hit downstairs. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed. Bedrooms were spacious with tvs in most. The location of this cabin was nice. Only about a 10min drive to the lake/casinos. We def plan on staying here again the next time we go out to Lake Tahoe. If I had to be picky, the only 2 somewhat bad things about this cabin are... The BBQ pit didn't seem to work to well. We were still able to use it but it took a long time. I think some of the burners might have been broken because it didn't get very hot. Also this cabin was a little pricey. Regardless of those 2 minor things, we loved it and had a amazing time!!! Can't wait to go back!

The house was clean and very adequately equipped especially the kitchen. We had 12 adults and one child and everyone had a bed. It started to snow when we arrived and snowed three feet. The roads were kept open and our driveway was eventually cleared. A very good experience.

We had the greatest time at this house over New Years! We had around 10 people and there was more than enough space. The upstairs is set up so perfect for relaxing, cooking, watching football, grilling, and the jacuzzi is right in the thick of it all!
The downstairs has so many activities. We build a snowboard jump on the side of the house, played pool, fooseball, snowball fights. It was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place [For the winter] it is only a few miles away from everything and has a very homey feel.
The only reason I give it a bad value score is because we were there over New Years and were paying over $1000 a night. I am sure over normal weeks it is more reasonable.

This was our first time renting from Tahoe Keys Resorts, and we had a fantastic time! The service was excellent and the property was even better than the pictures described. It was perfectly sized for the 7 of us and, even though we were on a guys getaway, it would make a great vacation for a family as well. Location was good, just a short drive to downtown or the lake...beautiful neighborhood! Our only complaint is that the iron didn't work that well : )

We were all very pleased with our stay. The property was very nice and occupied our entire group perfectly. We also were able to spend a lot of time just at the cabin because of the location and it allowed the children to play right beside the house. There was plenty to do and everyone had a great time. We will be coming back to this location.
