Inverness 1103 is a top floor unit that contains three large bedrooms for your perfect vacation. In the master bedroom there is a king size Sleep Number速 bed that is adjustable. You can vary the firmness of the bed or adjust it up so reading a book or TV is comfortable, or us the bedroom own private seating area for some quiet time or television watching. The second bedroom has two queen beds and a TV. The third bedroom is great for the little ones with two twin beds. With the bedrooms set up as it is, the early rising or late nighters will like that no one is sleeping on a sofa bed. In addition for groups of adults, no one is also sleeping in a bunk bed. There are two bathrooms one with a large walk-in shower and the master with a Jacuzzi tub. This unit is for 8 people which includes children and infants.
From this beachfront unit, you can watch the sunrise from your private balcony while drinking your coffee. The sunset is visible as it sets over the Laguna Madre, the bay, from the common walkway on this semi-private floor. Depending on the season, there is one area in the Living Room you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening.
South Padre Island is considered the best beach in Texas and a favorite spot for Kite Boarders. The shallow water is great for a family with kids. The building is a short walk down the beach to Wanna Wanna (a beach bar) to the south or a slightly longer walk to Clayton's (another beach bar) to the north. Every Friday during the summer and special holidays, the Island has fireworks. You will get a great view from the front walkway of the beachfront unit. You can walk and beachcomb along miles of groomed white sand beach. Bayfishing and dolphin watching trips are available from several piers on South Padre Island and in Port Isabel, or charter a deep sea fishing trip or private guide for your small group. If group fishing is not your idea of a vacation, either surf or bay wade fishing is available. The Ridley Sea Turtle information center, near the Convention Center, has shows about this protected fascinating creature that adults and children alike enjoy. Hike the nature trails to see beautiful roseate spoonbills, egrets, and pelicans. Hugely popular Schlitterbahn Water Park is open late spring to Labor Day. If you like a really active vacation or holiday, there's jet skiing; wind surfing and parasailing; boogey boarding and surfing, and horseback riding on the beach. If you get your fill of surf and sand, there's a multi-screen movie theater and miniature golf on the Island. The lighthouse in Port Isabel is open to the public, and the Gladys Porter zoo in nearby Brownsville is nationally acclaimed. There are numerous golf courses in the area, including a beautiful and challenging course in Laguna Vista. There are a myriad of fascinating shops on the Island and in Port Isabel or you may want to take the short drive to downtown Brownsville for a taste of Mexico. October offers a sandcastle building competition that produces amazing masterpieces from both master sandcastle builders and non-professionals.
Inverness 1103 STR number is 2015-GU1X7I. Do not rent any property on the island that does not list the South Padre Island City Council Short Term Rental (STR) permit number (Ordinance No. 15-03) also called the HOT permit number. The condo was very large and spacious. It was fully equiped with everything you would need for cooking your own meals which helped with the total cost seeing how we didn't have to go out to eat for every meal. It has a great swimming pool for the building and plenty of parking. Almost everyone parked on the second level of the garage so we parked on the bottom level, it was just about deserted and was always able to get a spot real close to the elevator. My favorite part of the condo was the view from the balcony. Being on the 11th floor we had a great veiw of sunrises and the gulf at night, and we were high enough that we didn't hear a lot of noise from the people on the beach. All around was a great place, my wife and I didn't want to leave at the end of our trip.

We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable accommodation that is right on the beach. The beach views off the balcony were spectacular, as were the sunsets viewed from the common area just steps outside the front door. We enjoyed several nights of cooking in the kitchen. The open area living room/dining/kitchen made for a great space to spend the mornings and evenings. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable as well. You step right onto the beach from the condo, and we thought the northern end of the beach where the condo was situated was perfect.

First let me state, the photographs do not do justice for this very large condo. A group of 6 adults never felt confined or crowded. The beds were confortable, the baths large, the kitchen well appointed. The unit was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The doors and windows appear to be new and of good quality, which kept out the wind and humidity, making for very comfortable sleeping.
The only problem we expirenced was the main bath vent fan quit two days into our seven day holiday. We notified the management company, but was still inoperable when we departed.However a can of airfreshner solved this minor inconvenience.
Oh, did I mention the view?? Wow! Front or back.. We could sit on the balcony for hours with a cold one or two, and just watch the ocean!
Be sure to take the short half mile walk south on the beach and stop at the Wanna Wanna beach bar. Shrimp basket, Nachos, and a Padre Punch.. good stuff

The beachfront condo was wonderful. The bedrooms are large and roomy with extra-large baths. The full sized kitchen made it easy to prepare meals and snacks before setting out for day at the beach or sightseeing. Because the condo is located at the beach's edge it took only a few steps to be in the sand and water. The balcony facing the water was cool with ocean breezes and relaxing with sounds of the waves and completely private. Watching the sunrise was relaxing and comfortable. I want to go back as soon as possible.
My refund policy does NOT match Flipkey as of 6-2014. Please note that we require a 45-day notice of cancellation for a refund of your advance payment less an $125.00 administrative fee and the non-refundable reservation fee. There are no refunds for shortened or cancelled stays within 45 days of arrival. For reservations made within 45 days of arrival, cancellation or changes may be made without penalty no later than 24 hours after making the reservation. A transfer to another property is considered a cancellation. Please notify us immediately of cancellation. If you purchased the Travel Insurance, please notify CSA Travel Protection at 800-554-9839.
