"Nice house in a mountain setting"

Left on 07/18/2017 for a stay in July 2017
The house was cozy and quite clean in most regards, and pretty flowers and a bottle of wine welcomed us. There was some confusion on pricing and availability. Tim responded to our request for Friday and Saturday night stay by setting a higher price because he said he didn't usually rent for two nights, although I don't believe he indicated a 3-night minimum. However, when I responded that we couldn't afford the higher price, he lowered it to slightly below the original price. Some issues negatively affected my wife and daughter and to some extent, myself The house had a strong smell- possibly due, in part, to previous animals - and large piles of magazines under the coffee table surface created a moldy odor. The porch furniture and the chair in the master bedroom were all in terrible shape. The bathroom mats were badly stained and perhaps dirty, and there were no washcloths. A few two month old newspapers cast about on the porch added to the unappealing effect. The refrigerator was clean, but the freezer was very dirty. There were some roaches in the cabinets - not obvious but unappealing. Also, the description lists a stocked pond, but doesn't explain that you're expected to return any fish you catch to the pond, which you find out when you rent. I think if you're not too picky, the house is a good deal for the money, and in general, may be appealing. However, if you're pretty sensitive, I'd look elsewhere.

"Luxurious classy apartment"

This apartment has top quality furniture, bedding, comfort. Kitchen is totally stocked with utensils, classy silverware and dishes. Owner Milan very welcoming. Setting is among wooded, mountain area yet close to Asheville, the Grove Park Inn and Biltmore House, Winery and Village.

"Great People Friendly and Dog Friendly Country Cabin"

Left on 07/05/2017 for a stay in June 2017
Stayed here nearly a week with my wife, our grown kids and their friends and dogs. It is very secluded and really nice. You drive up a long driveway to get to the cabin. It is in a remote area. Lots of winding roads before you get to the cabin. There are no close neighbors here. The cabin has 3 clean bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a nice kitchen and living room. It has a really nice back porch with lots of chairs and a great view of the cows, valley and mountains. You can grill out back or cook in the kitchen. It has a big yard with lots of critters in the woods, such as rabbits, pigs, deer, etc. Your dogs can run free at this cabin. Just be aware you need to constantly check them for ticks as you are in the woods. The owner Joey lives down the road and can help you with any issues. You may not have cell service here, but if you are on vacation, you are better off without cell service. They do have internet access. All in all, a great place to stay, and relatively close to rafting, tubing, kayaking, hiking and other outdoor activities. We all enjoyed it.

"Perfect Getaway"

Left on 11/30/2016 for a stay in November 2016
We had a great time at the Creek stone cabin! The cabin was clean, well stocked, and felt like home! We loved the creek behind the house and exploring the trails and area!

"Great stay!"

Left on 10/31/2016 for a stay in October 2016
We had an amazing trip, only made better by Joey and Cat's cabin. We were greeted by Joey who made sure we were comfortable and knew the ins and the outs of the home. The views were absolutely amazing and the house we stocked with anything we could have needed. We were traveling with small children and did not find any issues with the cabin not being kid friendly! We truly had a great stay and hope we have the opportunity to stay here again!
