I would recommend anyone considering this house to request the rental agreement from Belloise Realty before you pay any money. Know that if you rent through FlipKey you will have a confirmation number that is not recognized by Belloise Realty. I booked more than 6 months in advance and a week prior to our check-in date I contacted them and said I hadn't heard anything. Belloise didn't have me down. When they did find me, I got a new confirmation number with the contract that I had to sign. When I arrived we waited until 4:00 to check in. I had to call Belloise at 4:01 because they still hadn't text or emailed me the keyless entry code. When I got to the house there was a truck in the driveway and no place to park. I jumped out of the truck and went up to the house and found the owners of house cleaning double checking the home. They said it would only take a few minutes. It is now 4:16 and my husband is literally parked in the middle of the street. The house was exactly as it was pictured. I was not disappointed with that or the closeness of the beach. However, the owners of the house decided to remove the back deck that was advertised and start to install a pool. All of the furniture including the grill was placed covered all along the driveway. Making it so you couldn't pull the car all the way in. In addition, the workers would get there early in the morning to work because it was cooler for them but I paid $2,100 for the week. My daughter woke up to pounding her second day there. The last full day we were to be there, the owners said we were to keep the driveway clear because the brick pavers were being delivered. I own 5 apartments that I rent out and I do understand that as an owner you have no power when a company delivers materials. However, as the consumer that paid over $2,100 to rent that house for the week I have an expectation of what that means. This definitely crossed the threshold of reasonable.
The condo was absolutely beautiful and it was clean! The instructions for parking and the passes and the codes were easy to follow and exactly as stated. The ice maker was broke and the water poured very slowly from the water dispenser, but there's a gas station right next door so getting bags of ice wasn't an issue. There's some great places to eat and listen to music right across the street.... Sheppards Ocean View has the best buffet you will ever find and Jimmy's Fish House has an amazing view on the patio with entertainment and great food. We had one of the best vacations we've had in a very long time. If by chance you come across a white and lime green light weight hoodie with Clearwater on it. would you contact me? We may have left it in the condo. Thanks for a great place for vacation.
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at 615 Avalon apartments. It is close to Clearwater Beach and a Publix is right across the road. We felt safe in the gated apartment complex. The apartment was nice and clean. It could use some baking pans and a new beach umbrella. Was happy to see beach chairs. Wonderful vacation.
My sister and I had a nice time staying at the condo. It was in a great location to get to the beautiful Clearwater Beach. It only took about 12 minutes to get there. We went to the Clearwater Aquarium to see Winter and Hope..
The condo was very comfortable for the two of us. The owner made contact with me to be sure I had all the necessary information I need to access the condo. The bed was very nice for sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped except I would have liked a blender. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a plus. It was very clean and up to date. The swimming pool was well kept and the perfect temperature. I would definitely recommend this condo.
We had a awesome time the house was perfect we didn't get to grill out because it looked like someone before us turned an electronic grill into a charcoal grill so we didn't touch it. Short 5 min walk to the beach was awesome loved the area not too far from the downtown strip but just far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. A beautiful home
"No trip to Clearwater Beach would be complete without celebrating the end of the day at Pier 60. It’s a beautiful spot to watch the sunset, but it’s so much more than that. It’s where everyone goes to celebrate the end of another day in paradise! They usually have some great music, street performers, and many arts and crafts booths to stroll through and pick up a souvenir. On the weekend they also have movies for the whole family. Once the sun goes down and the beautiful sunset fades, then everyone spreads out their blankets and gets comfortable in front of the big screen. It’s a really fun experience for people of all ages, complete with soft drinks and popcorn. I don’t know what it is about being outside at the beach that makes the movie so much more special, but my family loves it. If you visit earlier in the day, you will see a fun beach party scene with beach volleyball, and a Spring Break, party atmosphere. If you prefer more peace and quiet, head a little farther North or South, but come back to Pier 60 for the evening celebration."
"If you happen to be visiting at Thanksgiving, you have to go to the buffet at Shephard’s Beach Resort. Their seafood buffet is always good, or you can just order off the menu. But at Thanksgiving they serve a feast fit for a king! Prepare to wait in line for a while, but it’s worth it! If you are on a budget or don’t want to eat a huge meal, at least visit the tiki bar. The views are amazing, and the music creates the perfect beach side atmosphere.
If a more relaxed laid back meal is more appealing, then stop by Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill, right at the beach. They have wonderful Rum Runners, Ice Cold Beer, and a wonderful beachfront location. They have great Garlic Crab Fries, and yummy oysters."
"The Jolly Trolley runs every few minutes, so you can leave the car parked and jump on (or off) at any marked bus stop. A day pass is only $4.50, and that will allow you to see the entire area, spending time wherever you wish. You could ride it out to the marina and take a cruise on the water to see the many dolphins in the area, or head on over to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and see Clearwater’s own famous dolphin, Winter. The Starlight Dinner Cruise is also a wonderful way to end the day!
The Sugar Sand Festival is held in April. It’s a celebration of the sugary white powdery sand that Clearwater Beach is known for. It’s a must see Festival if you happen to be here at that time of the year. You will see amazing sand sculptures of all shapes and sizes. It’s really fun to watch the speed sand demos where you write down what you would like the artists to make, and watch them compete to make them. The winner is decided by the crowd’s applause. The kids will have a great time in the children’s play area, or if you are traveling solo, this event will bring out the kid in you!
So as you can probably tell, Clearwater Beach is all about sand, sunsets, shopping and beachside dining. It can be as laid back and relaxing as you choose, or a total beach party experience. Or maybe, the perfect mix of both!"
