“Great Position, Great Condo, Great Place.” My Husband, 5yr old & I visited St Augustine for the first time & we stayed at Sand In My Shoes for a week to finish off our 3 week vacation. From arriving everyone was very helpful & welcoming, from the beaming smiles & waves from the guards who were manning the entrance to the very helpful staff at reception. On entering the condo there was a wonderful welcome basket from the owners with a some thoughtful necessities & instructions to help us settle in, which we were very gratefully for. The place itself was very clean & welcoming. The home is very spacious with comfy seating and great views over the large pond. The bedrooms are very spacious & everything was beautifully decorated with a beach theme. The place is very well stocked & the owners have thought of everything possible to help make our stay as easy & enjoyable as possible. We visited the beach daily as its only a few mins walk to reach the most beautiful white sanded beach. & Although we visited in August the beach was quiet & we enjoyed the feeling of being on a nearly 'private; beach. St Augustine itself was a great place to visit with lots of local history. We had a wonderful time exploring the fort & pirate museum & strolling through the old town looking in all the little boutiques. My family & I have been visiting Florida every year for the last 15 years & we will definitely be returning to St Augustine sometime in the future as we found it to be the best seaside town we have had the pleasure of visiting in Florida so far. The next time we do visit St Augustine we will definitely return to Sand In My Shoes, & I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a stress free vacation in a beautiful, well stocked home by the beach, in a beautiful historic town.

“Great value for the Money” Well equiped, loaded with cool furniture and very clean beach condo. we are adding this review at the request of the owner as this is a new site for them.We really enjoyed our stay as the beach was wonderful, bikes fun, Club really beautiful and convenient to everything yet some $250 less then other rentals. new mattress was much appreciated. We also have stayed at the owners newest condo and while quite a bit more expensive, was beautiful. these owners are really easy to deal with and go out of their way to make your visit a good one. we will return to this Club and probably one of the owners two condos as they really were quite good.

“Comfortable, relaxing home on creek and very dog friendly” St Augustine home on lake that has active bird life. Easy access to downtown, nearby beaches, stores and malls. Susan couldn't have been a more welcoming owner. Home is comfortable with a small fenced in area for dogs and lovely arbor with chairs and table overlooking the lake.

“The best place to stay when you go to the beach!!!” We have stayed quite a few times now in this particular unit and it has been fabulous everytime. The view is excellent to the pool and the beach. This particular unit is in a very safe and secure neighborhood for children and well as adults. Has a great broadwalk that leads directly down to the beach. Has everything that you possibly need to use inside this unit--you kinda feel like you are at your own home instead of someone elses. It is well stocked with appliances and needs for everyone. Has great entertainment on the inside with the ipod docking station, games for the kids, great cable/dvd player/big screen television and much more...It is located right off the main highway but, no to far from shopping malls, grocery stores, etc...The office personnel has always been very pleasant to deal with in any situation rather it be emergency or not. It is always very children orientated and that is a very comfortable feeling that I really like the most. Oh and don't forget about the internet access that this unit has for it's renters to enjoy while on vacation, whether it be for pleasure or school, or business...Will do our very best to continue to stay in this unit for many years to come...Have enjoyed our stay...Tina
