“Perfect Cape Cod Vacation Cottage” We just returned from our week-long stay at this beautiful, immaculately clean cottage. We fell in love with it online, and it certainly did not disappoint! I can honestly say that there was not one thing lacking from this home. Everything we needed was included; just bring some food and a bathing suit and have a great time! The cottage was the perfect size for our family of four, and the family and friends that joined us on the beach for a day all loved the coziness and décor as much as we did. The ocean is a short walk away, but we bought a parking pass for the week, and were happy that we did. Although we did not explore as many different beaches as we thought we might, it was so convenient to have the pass and be able to pack all our things in the car, drive down to Inman Beach, and have the option to make quick (5 minute) trips back to the house for extra drinks/snacks, bathroom breaks, etc. Parking was never an issue at Inman, so there was no concern about losing a spot. Also, don’t miss out on picking up some steamers from George’s Fish Market. We ate them on the back deck after long days on the beach – perfect and delicious! We can’t wait to return next summer, thank you Lynn and Mark for sharing your home with us!

“Very cute condo close to beach” I stayed at 194 Captain Chase #8 for a week in August 2015. The condo is very cute and spacious. What I liked best: Location, location location! I love Dennis Port - you are centrally located and it isn't far for a ride up to Provincetown, Chatham, or Hyannis. You are close to the Bay beaches or the National Seashore. There are plenty of restaurants (that you can order out from), pizza places, the Dog House and Sundae School (for ice cream) is right up the road. Glendon Road Beach is a very short walk so making the trek with chairs, a cooler, and a beach bag was not an issue. (and you save yourself a parking fee). The Del Ray Beach Club is very quiet which I liked and after a day at the beach, relaxing by the pool was very nice. The condo was very cute and just like the pictures. The bedroom is very spacious; plenty of room to hang your clothes. Having two bathrooms was wonderful. The living area is also spacious. We had one of the couches made into a bed the entire stay - but still had another couch to sit on to watch TV. The owner has provided some board games, DVD's, and books - even two beach chairs! It was hot the entire week so we made use of the air conditioning. My only issue during the week was trying to cook on the stove. I set off one of the smoke/fire alarms and it took awhile for them to stop beeping. I ended up not using the stove the rest of the week. Overall this rental is ideal spot for a week out at the Cape. I recommend it for a couple, or a couple with young children.

“Pinch me I think I am in heaven.” 99 Glendon Road was a wonderful place to spend our vacation with my husband and our 2 teenagers. It was so nice to walk to beach. Also, the Hog Dog Place and pizza restaurant at the end of the street is perfect.

“This house is simply put "SPECTACULAR"” This very charming and very well furnished two bedroom summer home was amazing. The owner thought of everything you could possibly need in your home away from home for the week. The decor was very tastefully done, and the large deck with grill allowed us to have our meals outside. There is even an outdoor shower and washer and dryer available. I really liked the no hassle five minute walk down to beach everyday as well. We definitely plan to stay there again next summer. This house is a must see!

“Wonderfully spacious, beautiful, private, equipped, convenient,an” The photo doesn't truly capture all that this "cottage" has to offer...including a very easy walk to the beach. Large enough for private (even work) time and warm enough for being together and visiting with extended family and friends.(The only difficulty would be transporting a 91 yo mom up the stairs to visit.) As experienced renters over the last 25 years, having wifi, laundry, relaxing tub, great dining space, and enough privacy to feel "away", we were thoroughly pleased...A true delight and wonderful surprise after a long trip from Michigan. Thank you.

“Cozy & private by the sea!” My husband & I were looking to stay somewhere quiet & private for our week get-a-way. We were not looking to be entertained, we were looking to relax. This was the right choice for our vacation!. The cottages are nearby each other but separate from each other providing privacy from the neighboring cottages. We stayed in cottage #93 on the end & felt more "secluded" from the driveway/roadway. The beach was a short walk from the cottage - no need to bring the car! There were a number of trips made in the morning to the pretty beach location coffee in hand or a chair, drink & book later in the day. The beach is a rare find during "high season" since there is no fee to use. The cottage itself is small-ish as expected w/2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 common area for kitchen/living space & a nice size front deck w/a picnic table. Easy enough for simple vacation living. When we arrived, we encountered a couple of issues @ the cottage that were an indication of the previous inhabitants & their negligent & destructive living habits. One call to Jamie and the issues were handled promptly. The Property Management Team came to the property & addressed all concerns immediately! All in all, my husband & I will surely be looking to return to this cottage for another stay - maybe even bring the grandkids next time!

“Nice location close to beach.” This house is in a great location. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. It has a nice yard with lots of shade to sit in. There is a gas grill. an outdoor shower and a clothes line to dry your bathing suits and beach towels. The inside was clean when we got there. The kitchen is nice and fully stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, toaster and coffee maker. It has a gas stove. The bedrooms are small and tight to walk in, with minimal storage. The bathroom was clean but the indoor shower is very small and we primarily used the outdoor shower to have room to move in. All in all, a nice little house with some space constraints. Great location and a nice yard.

“Great!” We've rented this home for several years as a family. It's comfortable and airy. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood, and close to the beaches. Plenty of room for our annual family clam bake. My husband is not much of a beach person so he really enjoys the screened in porch and the open deck. The owner updates something every year and keeps the property in wonderful condition,

“Perfect Cape Cod Cottage” Great location, less than 200ft to the beach. Laura Ashley style bedrooms, Cape Cod decor in living room. Main bathroom good size, 1/2 bath which is in one of the bedrooms is so tiny.. But does come in handy. Comfy beds. Owner does have beach chairs and boogie boards for renters use. Sweet !! New gas grill, oodles of pots, pans, utensils. Front screened in porch with chairs is fab at night. Outside chairs and clothes line. Very peaceful area.

“We had a relaxing vacation in a comfortaable cottage.” Rented this property for the third year from Martha Murray. We were somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. Spent a short time doing what the cleaners should have taken care of. We decided not to make Martha Murray aware until we checked out. They said they would have had someone come to clean, which I am confident they would have. We have always been pleased with their service. The cottage is very comfortable, has air conditioning which was very appreciated. The location is great. Close to the river, beaches and restaurants. Would definitely rent from Martha Murray again.

About Dennis Port

The village of Dennis Port forms part of the larger town of Dennis in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Renowned for its beautiful beaches, outdoor activities and warm weather, Cape Cod attracts vacationers all year round.

Find your perfect beachside condo or cottage in Dennis Port with FlipKey?

About Dennis Port

Dennis Port is one of five villages comprising the town of Dennis, including East Dennis, West Dennis, South Dennis and Dennis Village. Dennis itself has been called the ‘cultural center of Cape Cod’ due to its artistic community, galleries, the Cape Cod Museum of Art and the Cape Playhouse.

Cape Cod’s beaches are known as some of the most beautiful in the world, and with these right on your doorstep, as well as a wealth of outdoor activities, it’s easy to see why Dennis attracts the affluent for summer vacations, as well as families with younger children looking for a relaxing break. Whether your idea of the perfect vacation involves sunbathing, fishing, surfing, whale watching or shopping, Dennis Port has plenty to offer.

Dining here is mostly casual and family-friendly, with fried seafood, lobster rolls and oysters on most menus, as well as spectacular sea views from many establishments.

What to do

Get out and about in the Cape Cod sunshine and explore the Cape Cod Rail Trail. This former railroad is the perfect spot for walking and biking, running for 22 miles to Wellfleet. Other outdoor activities include golfing at Dennis Pines or Dennis Highlands, as well as fishing, kayaking, jet skiing and parasailing.

Sea Street Beach in Dennis Port is the perfect place to take the kids – it’s small, peaceful and family-friendly. Or head for Cape Cod Inflatable Water Park in West Yarmouth for a fun family day out.

For art and culture, Cape Cod Museum of Art and the Discovery Museum are both worth visits, while Fritz Glass is the place to head for glassblowing demonstrations and the opportunity to buy unique souvenirs. Catch a show at the Cape Playhouse, which has hosted performers such as Humphrey Bogart and Bette Davis!

Top Dennis Port travel tips

The nearest airport is Logan International Airport in Boston, around a 1.5-hour drive (81 miles) from Dennis Port. Car hire is available at the airport and recommended for exploring Cape Cod.

Avoid holidays like Labor Day (September 4th) and Independence Day (July 4th) if you don’t like crowds – summer weekends in Cape Cod can get busy! For a quieter, less crowded experience, visit in May, June, September or October when the weather's still mild and you can enjoy all Dennis Port has to offer.

With some of the most beautiful beaches around, a wealth of activities for all ages and fantastically fresh seafood, a vacation in Dennis Port is one you won’t forget.

FlipKey has over 1,000 Dennis Port vacation rentals to choose from, so you’re sure to find your beachfront cottage or vacation house.

The place was fantastic!

The location and the accommodations were just amazing. We had three children and two adults. Everyone was comfortable and cozy. The beach was right down the hill, several trips a day back and forth to the beach was great with the kids. Someone would want to say someone would want to do something else. You could leave your stuff set up for the day and come and go as you pleased. Within a couple of miles, you have bike rentals for the Cape Rail Trail. There are boat and kayaks rentals very close by also. Just a great time all around. Thanks, Jamie we had a great time. Looking forward to coming back next year.see more

nice lay out and calming but a few things need to be worked on.

My husband, my best friends and I stayed here for the first time this year and the rental was very nice inside. loved the colors and the lay out. The patio is just a picnic table in the sand so that was deceiving. The bathrooms need shelves for toiletries and the bedrooms needed bigger mirrors and bureaus but over all it was very nice. We love the area because it is in the middle of the Cape and close to P-town and Hyannis, mini golf and some of the best restaurants. Jason's is a must and Longfellows has great prime rib specials on Tuesdays. oh and love just sitting with my feet in the sand, drinking coffee and enjoying my hubs, friends, seagulls, and salt air. Life is good. Below is said would I recommend this to people with disabilities....yes because it is all on one floor but it does have steps to go into the front and then steps to go off the deck so no wheelchair bound people.see more
