Classy 1 Bedroom Villa with Pool In Accra Ghana

Accra villa

“Splendid stay and atmosphere” This has been my most enjoyable trip to Ghana, the spacious rooms at the Classy Villa and the large compound added to the private clean swimming pool gave me a different feeling. The staff were nice and friendly, amazingly there was a stand=by generator and water reserviour at hand which made life just perfect. the villa is located away from the busy city life but well positioned so you don't miss anything from Eating-out to Night-life, its also a few minutes drive to the top accra Shopping Mall where you can get all you want. We didn't even bother going to the beach because the pool was always available and good for relaxation in the sun,we love it, "try it".

“Great location and wonderful villa” Classy Ghana villas is perfectly located. We rented the villa from the owner directly. The location is new and easily accessible to downtown and the accra Mall via the Tema Motorway. The staff were really great and the villa is always kept clean as well as the the pool. The villa is well equipped, and very well decorated both the interior and the exterior. The villa pool and facilities more than lived up to the description on the website. It's always well maintained and clean. I'll definitely recommend this villa to all guests visiting Ghana.

About Ghana

Having escaped the ravaging wars of its West African neighbors, you often hear Ghana referred to as “Africa’s Golden Child”.

And it's true! With its gorgeous beaches and a rich, vast hinterland full of exotic wildlife, Ghana offers visitors the chance to see Africa at her best.

Add to that vibrant buzzing cities, a rich culture and a cuisine that will have you at first bite and you will wonder how it has escaped the tourist map. But don’t worry – FlipKey has plenty of places for you to stay.

About Ghana

Ghana has lots of opportunities for visitors to explore different areas and find out more about the country.

The coastal forts serve as reminders of the unhappy past of the country that includes the West African Slave trade.

Ghana has seen many rulers in its time, and all have left their mark. However, in 1957, the new State of Ghana was the first African colony to gain independence, a much-celebrated date in the Ghanian calendar.

Though the city is a vibrant metropolis, just look outside the main streets and you'll see quaint market towns and villages, as well as the vast wilderness that is home to so many animals.

What to do in Ghana

There are many places to visit in Ghana.

Accra – the capital – is a great place to start. Explore the food, the culture and the nightlife while you're there. The National Museum is a great place to learn more about the country as a whole.

Drive to the coast, and visit the forts so you can be aware of the country's past. Then enjoy the beaches and just chill to the sounds of local music while dining on succulent shrimp with an ice-cold drink.

Nature lovers can trek the hills and waterfalls of the Volta region being sure to visit the spectacular 400m high Wli Falls and nearby Agumatsa Wildlife sanctuary.

Mole National Park is, for many tourists, the reason they come to Ghana. Visitors can see elephants gathering at waterholes while monkeys swing through the forest above. Don't forget your camera!

Also nearby is the town of Larabanga, famous for its stick and mud built 15th-century mosque. Another must-see!

Top Ghana travel tips

Before you decide to visit Ghana, you must apply at the Ghanaian Embassy in for a visa and make sure you have a yellow fever certificate.

To get around the country, take advantage of the amazing bus network and look out for air-conditioned STC and VIP buses that are on the main tourist travel routes.

One visit to Ghana may not be enough once you experience its many delights. Whether it is at a beach resort or a lodge in the Upper Volta, FlipKey has got you covered.

Awesome

The property was clean, well stocked & peaceful. The grounds were well maintained & tranquil. I made a point to have my coffee on the side porch almost daily. I appreciated Ms. Leeann so much!!! As I traveled alone she made aware of how safe I was within the Community, she guided me when necessary & is an all around great hostess. I totally recommend No. 47A!!!see more
Classy 1 Bedroom Villa with Pool In Accra Ghana
Amazing holidays!!

Our Ghana trip to visit family was long planned and finally the time came to find the right place to stay to enjoy 3 weeks of holidays. As we did not want to stay in a hotel we looked for an appartment not far from the airport and town centre. Classy villa was the first that came up when we googled. After looking into more options we decided the 1 bedroom villa will be the right place for our holidays. We arrived very late in the night but we were welcomed with a smile and friendliness from the night staff - nothing was too much for an effort. This first experience followed through our stay. Whenever we needed something the staff was very helpful and made our stay very relaxed. Everything was maintained in an excellent way and even when the power got cut off the staff made sure that the generator wass on so we did not realise any disruption. The villa is situated in a very quiet and friendly area and the pictures show exactly what you get. The 1 bedroom villa is very spacious and comfortably decorated. We want to thank Winfred, Victor, Eric and the team for an amazing time and we will definitely recommend you to everybody who wants to go to Ghana and we hope that we will come back soon as we will definitely stay with you again during our next trip.see more

Fun, Safe and Relaxing while in accra

I stayed for a month at the large villa and was more than pleased with the safety and service from the people who work there. They not only ensured I was safe, they also taught me a lot about Ghana and the food they like to eat. Yes, the power goes out in accra but Freddie would start the power generator immediately. Gloria ensured the villa stayed clean and taught me how to cook a few Ghanaian dishes. Zachary was the night watchman and all was quiet in the evenings. Many thanks to Victor for such a great welcome when I arrived and for his help and smiling face every day. Want to experience the true culture of accra...stay here...it is peaceful, safe and so much fun. They are there to help you no matter what question you may have. A fabulous experience...stay here, you will not be disappointed.see more
Spacious three bedroom self-catering villa with Swimming pool in Accra
A wonderful family vacation rental

Ghana review I travelled to Ghana with my husband (who is Ghanaian), 14 year old son, and 80ish parents. This residence fit our needs to a tee. Location - It was a relatively short drive from the airport (allowing for Ghana traffic), and is within walking distance to Chicken Republic, Total, and tons of street vendors. Hubby & I took early morning walks on Spintex Road, and even walked to the Junction Mall, which houses a Shop Rite along with several stores and restaurants. Amenities- although each room is equipped with air conditioning, we only needed the ceiling fans as the temperatures were relatively comfortable. The hot water heaters were efficient, although the units in two of the rooms did not work after the first day, but the maintenance staff made arrangements to have them repaired as soon as we reported the issue. The kitchen was fully functional and included all necessities to prepare all our meals. The washer needed some explanation as the instructions were written in German, but it worked well once we knew what to do. We had "lights out" almost every day, but the generator kicked in quickly so we weren't without power for long. We ended up purchasing our own towels as the ones provided were quite dingy. The front porch is a great place to relax and catch a breeze. We noticed the other unit had a screened porch - that would have been great. For our last night we had to move to another property a short drive down the road. While the house was spacious and had everything we needed, it was evident it had not been freshened up in preparation for our stay. We found a huge dead cockroach in one of the bathrooms and a mouse scampered through the living room. We were definitely thankful for the staff's commitment to our privacy and security. On one occasion, the member of our party who had the keys had to go out while the rest of us were already out. When we returned we were locked out and had to wait outside for quite some time until he was able to return as none of the staff on the premises were in possession of a key, and the manager was not around. I would suggest a second key be provided to guests or that the manager with keys remain nearby. Overall it was a great stay and we will gladly return to this property.see more
