Tanglewood Beach House - West Coast Living at its best.

Parksville house

  • 2 bedrooms
  • 2 bathrooms
  • sleeps 4

“Woodland setting and close to ocean, but still close to all amen” I have stayed at a lot of different rental properties and can honestly say that the Tanglewood Beach House is one of the best I have stayed at. They have a great book that the owners created outlining the area and what there is to do. It also includes a reference guide for the condo on simple things but things that if you don't live there you wouldn't know how to turn certain things on/off and which remote does what. The kitchen also has everything you need to cook with.

VANCOUVER ISLAND - ELES ESCAPE B and B by the SEA

Lantzville b&b

  • 2 bedrooms
  • 1 bathroom
  • sleeps 2

“We'll be back!” If you're looking for someplace with attentiveness to all the details and more, Ele's Escape is it! Pet-friendly was my first clue it would be wonderful. But I had no idea the food would be so spectacular, the guest room filled with unexpected fun and comfort ( think amazing chocolate, homemade cookies, soft robes and lots more...). The bed was soo soft and cozy, the ocean within view and a 1 minute walk and the hosts incredible. Informative, welcoming and fun, they are some of the best we've experienced. A fantastic place to rejuvinate and play! Click on that reserve button and give yourself (and your pup!) a great gift! Mary M.

EAGLE'S AERIE VACATION RENTAL

Qualicum Beach cottage

  • 1 bedroom
  • 1 bathroom
  • sleeps 4

“Oh! such beautiful beach!” We did enjoy a lot our stay at Easgle's aerie. Sandy is a very nice hostess, very friendly. The appartment is clean, well decorated; kitchen is well furnished so we could cook the fresh seafood bought at the marina at French Creek. And now, the lanscape! It is gorgeous; beach is clean and easy to walk on at low-tide. Unfortunately, the eagles were on vacation on the continent as Sandy tells. Even though, the appartment is not oceanfront, we had total access to the patios and garden in front of their home.

“Perfect Weekend Get-a-Way” This rustic off the grid cottage on Lasqueti Island was perfect for our family get-a-way weekend. Rob met us at the dock, drove us to the cottage (although it was only a 5 minute walk but much appreciated as we had some luggage), and then explained the cottage mechanics. Josephine was attentive and helpful on the phone. Wonderful couple! Charming cottage! Excellent experience! Thank you.

About Parksville

Located on the breathtaking shores of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, the quiet town of Parksville has evolved from a sleepy harbor village into a popular first-class vacation destination. Come to Parksville for a fun and unique family trip, a romantic escape, or a getaway with friends. Amid the rugged natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, you'll find fun things to do and great ways to relax. You'll also have no trouble finding a perfect vacation rental that can help you get the most out of your Parksville experience. Vacation rentals in Parksville are often less expensive than hotels and can offer the space and luxury amenities you and your family need. Wake up each morning in your private cabin or ocean condo and watch the sun rise from your balcony.

Enjoy breakfast in your gourmet kitchen, and then plan the day's adventures. Head downtown for shopping, golf, luxury spas, and world-class restaurants. Relax on the quiet shores of Vancouver Island, go whale watching, or take a charter sailing trip. Be sure to save some time to hike the trails of the nature preserves and wildlife areas, go rock climbing, or rent a sea kayak as well. At the end of a long day of sun, sand and outdoor activities, head back to your home away from home and host dinner for your family and friends.

Here are a few additional suggestions for your trip:

  • See the waterfalls: Hike or bike the trails of Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park. The park winds around the southern shores of Cameron Lake and is home to stunning waterfalls that tumble into a rocky gorge.
  • Visit the Little Qualicum Cheeseworks: This family farm is open to the public for tours and tastings. Come here to sample delicious cheese and wine and learn how cheese is made.
  • Go horseback riding: Several well-maintained stables around the Parksville area offer lessons and guided trail rides.
  • Experience Parksville, BC camping: Spend an unforgettable night under the stars at any of several beautiful Parksville camping areas.
  • Explore MacMillan Provincial Park and the Cathedral Grove Rainforest: These preserved wilderness areas are home to some of the oldest rainforest ecosystems in the Pacific Northwest.

No matter what time of year you plan your visit to Parksville, you'll find a warm welcome and beauty everywhere you look. Enjoy it all from your cabin or condo, which will allow you to schedule activities at your own pace and make fun, lasting vacation memories. While you're visiting Parksville, you may also want to plan side trips to nearby destinations like Nelson and Sooke.

Tanglewood Beach House - West Coast Living at its best.
A beautiful Home away from Home!

Do you know the feeling of "ahhh" when you step into a place that is truly wonderful? This is "that" place. Very close to the beach (2 minute walk), full amenities and completely furnished for even the most discerning of guests. Shelley was extremely easy to work with, regardless of the question(s) and is concerned people enjoy themselves while at the beach house. To this extent, she has provided a guide book outlining everything in the home (including instructions) and in the area(s) surrounding. It is a very thorough helpful book. This property is truly allergen free which was extremely important to me. There are a great many sites to visit in and around the island area however if you simply want to relax, this is the perfect location. May you enjoy many tranquil moments in a beautiful home along with attention to detail and quality professional service in booking the Beach House with Shelley. Really, so much more than a Beach House.see more
