My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3+ month (end of April through July) stay at Torre Lirios. For the first 2+ months we were in the bottom floor condo which matched its description and photos and had a great view of Banderas Bay. The kitchen is quite small but sufficiently equipped so that we could fix meals. The unit has a good washer and dryer which were essential for our long stay. We loved the pool and rarely saw anyone else there. The walk down the hill to the Malecon and restaurants was not bad. But we only made the walk up a few times at the start of our visit then the rest of the time opted for cabs which cost about $3 USD. Well worth it! Tony the property manager was terrific to work with, very responsive and spoke excellent English. We had some Internet issues early on which Tony took care of with the provider. During our stay the pool had to be closed for about 10 days for unexpected maintenance. To compensate, Tony and the condo owner offered us a deal on a 5th floor condo where we stayed for the last 3 weeks of our visit. Having more space including a full kitchen and king size bed was wonderful. What an amazing view from the condo’s large balcony! We spent a lot of time there having meals, reading, relaxing and watching activity on the bay including the pirate ship and nightly fireworks. Being up on the hill was so worth it to have such a marvelous view. We also enjoyed being away from the touristy area and feeling more part of the local community. Loved all the roosters crowing! Many thanks to our terrific property manager Tony and to the owner Sheryl for a wonderful experience. We definitely recommend these two condos and look forward to returning.
I have just returned home from a 2 week vacation where I stayed at Casa Vallarta. I had a wonderful time as I always do in Puerto Vallarta. The condo is very spacious, plenty of room for one or two people. The kitchen has everything that you would need to make a meal or to entertain friends. But if cooking is not on your vacation agenda there are several places to eat near to the area. The condo was very clean and airy. It is also important to mention the owners of the condo. They were both very friendly. In words and actions they both let me know that me enjoying my vacation was just as important to them as it was to me. They made me feel as if I'd known them for years. Overall it was a very positive vacation. If you are looking for a condo to rent you won't go wrong with this one.
In my opinion this was the best located condo in PV. It was right where the river meets the sea with fantastic views. I loved to sit on the balcony and watch the iguanas in the trees outside sunbathing. Also many nice birds to look at, all really close up.
The location of the condo is perfect, minutes from the beach, Malecon, shops and restaurants. The condo was just lovely. Big rooms, super comfy beds and very well appointed. The kitchen was extremely well equipped although we didn't cook at all. It was very quiet for sleeping and believe me I am a light sleeper.
We didn't need the AC, just used the fan occasionally. And it was so handy having the washer/dryer.
The building was quiet, secure and clean, and there was a nice pool area with plenty umbrellas and loungers. You can always find a bit of shade there, so nice to get out of the sun sometimes.
The owner was very easy to deal with, and the airport pickup, complete with lovely bouquet of "bird of paradise " flowers was very welcoming.
If I ever return to PV I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
We stayed for just over 2 months and did not want to leave. Olga, CC and Alicia are three older women that run a great apartment building. Anything we asked for was taken care of quickly. The view is so exceptional that anything else did not matter to us. We prepared ourself by reading the reports on trip advisor, We knew it was up a very steep hill and that we would be challenged physically. We are older and have bad knees but felt up to the challenge. If you are looking for American or Canadian standards in a building, you will not find it here. There is no wall or windows to the outside. One wall is open to the outside. We had a great ocean breeze, no need for air conditioning. There are lots of plants and the birds come into your apartment and sit on the planters! I saw no bugs in our room, had hot water, a nice full size fridge, good Internet and cable TV. Our bathroom was OK. The beds in Mexico are hard as they are built of cement base. No boxspring, just a mattress. The sheets were percale cotton and very cosy. The floor is painted conreate made to look like marble. Easy to sweep and mop clean. There is a jet tub on the patio which was nice when it was hot and we did not want the ocean swim. The security in the building worked well. Locked gates on the floors could not allow strangers into the building. Olga and staff knew everything going on and keep a close eye on comings and goings. The building has a wonderful roof top with ano area to sit, sun bath, and meet up for drinks watching the sun sets. There are several ways to get down to the Melecon and beaches. It depends ds on were you want to go. Buses and cabs are easy to find. The end of the street, Emilio Carranza, has two store. It is about a three block walk, not a climb. The store carry almost everything you need except for meat and hard booze. Everything is close by! The comments made tell of noise at night from the disco at night. We just turned on the fan at night and had no problems. This is a 1980s built building. Yes it could do with some up grades... Olga wants to make you happy and will do all she can to make that happen. Swearer gas is common in Mexico..they do not have peace traps vented to the outside because the apartments are open. We found bleach poured into the drains and the water running helped the smell. This is not every day, just some times. We loved our Casa and plan to go back for 3 months next winter. Every one of Olga's Casas are different and unique. Chose the one you think will suit you best.
My husband and I enjoyed this cozy condo equipped with kitchenette and seperate sitting area. We did not partake in the all inclusive option and found it very convenient to pick up local and international foods only a 7 minute walk away. We walked into town -PV on cool mornings and taxied home for about 5.00cnd dollars. The beach was very nice and good for swimming. The pool was clean but busy. This accommodation was occupied with nationals of all ages which made people watching from the balcony lots of fun. There wete lots of linens and towels available and the condo was very clean. We would stay there again as everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you Jeffrey for your help in making our holiday painless and a pleasure.
