The apartment is well centrally located with a nice view. It might become noisy because it is just across to one of the vaporetto stations but for us that was not a problem.
The main area is just right with all the essentials. The loft, where the third bed was, it was small and cozy, however, the stairs were narrow.
The main problem we had were the mosquitoes. We opened the window when we arrived on Sunday for no more than an hour and that was enough to get mosquitoes until we were gone on Wednesday. That was really an inconvenience since we all got bitten pretty bad and kept killing them day and night. So, please do not open the windows, at least in the summer.
With my husband and 16 year old daughter we visited Venice for 4 days in October 2016. For us, staying in this apartment was perfect. It is 2 blocks away from 2 different vaporetto stops, so not very far to drag your suitcases. It is centrally located in the Academia area close to the Guggenheim museum, across the grand canal from saint Marco square and yet in a very quiet area without any tourists. It has 2 bedrooms with very comfortable double beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living room which we did not use. The kitchen is very small, but we were not cooking much anyways. The apartment was very clean. It was nicely decorated with warm colours and antiques and venetian prints - it felt like a home. Federico was very helpful, he responded quickly to our request, met us at the ferry, spent a full hour with us giving us restaurant tips and suggestions for what to visit. This was really appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
It is up a flight of narrow stairs without elevator, so perhaps not for everyone...
It is a perfect accommodations, Pablo, the host was very proactive, excellent communications arranged check-in timely. The location is great, slightly off the main tourists area to avoid the crowd, still close to everything.
I will definitely use it again and recommend it to my friends
