We have been renting houses/condos for many years through online websites and our rule is usually to book for only 3 nights, as you can live with anything for three nights. We broke our own rule with this rental by renting two weeks without first trying it out. Boy are we happy we broke the rule. There are several gems in this home. 1. Irma the housekeeper makes you feel at home. She cooks breakfast every morning. Her authentic Mexican breakfasts are wonderful. She keeps the house very clean and attends to most any needs that you might have. She even arranged for us to have massages at the house twice. 2. The pool is beautiful and warm but refreshing on a hot Zihuatanejo afternoon. 3.The view is pretty awesome both day and night. 4. The bedrooms--there are 4 bedrooms which include two master suites with king sized beds. One is under the pool, away from the living area with views overlooking the Zihuatanejo bay and is very private. Also in that same area is an additional suite with two double beds. The other master suite is the highest floor of the house with the same incredible views of the bay and also the pool. It is also very private. There is an additional bedroom with two twin size beds and uses the shared common bathroom at the living level area. The only thing that prevented us from giving it 5 stars is that we lost water and/or water pressure every Sunday (Irma isn't on duty on Sundays). Irma was quick to get it fixed on Monday when she returned. Claudia the property manager was very responsive to any needs we had during the booking process and made it quite easy. A car is a necessity if renting this place but it should be noted you could not get a large 4 wheel drive truck into the gates of the house where you park the vehicle. Overall this rental was perfect for our needs while we were on our annual vacation in Zihuatanejo. We have already booked it again for 2018.
