Beautiful cottage. Every room was clean and to a high standard. Well worth the money. The hot tub was clean, the owner came round to top it up as well and to check the chlorine levels. It made my birthday memorable and I will defiantly be going back.... was a well thought out and decorated cottage. Loved it!!!

A comfortable unwind

Left on Dec 02, 2009 for a stay in August 2009

The upstairs flat was well fitted and the decor was
cosy and "country comfortable". The views were

We brought our 1 year old son with us, and it was
perhaps a bit too cramped with the required cot and
high chair... but the weather was nice, so we
indulged in the bbq as much as possible.

Nice walks in the area, and the quality of the food

Great for couples to relax in a world of their own

Left on Feb 04, 2014 for a stay in November 2013

I stayed in this lovely little cottage with my boyfriend. Loved the beautiful view and the remote location (it's only minutes away from the main cottages but it gives you a romantic feeling that you are the only people left in the whole world). You can go out for interesting walks or just sit back and relax in front of a big fire. The owners were very nice and helpful. We will definitely return.

small but warm

Left on Mar 10, 2011 for a stay in January 2011

The cottage was warm but very small, especially for 2 people and a german shepherd. We left before the week was up as there was no room to store clothes for the week and we had to leave them packed in cases which took up most of the floor space. The owners were friendly enough when we met them in the pub.

The cottage is idiosyncratic (was 2 separate cottages originally), but extremely interesting, with large numbers of original features, like the built in cupboards by the fire and Rayburn.
