Built in 1843, McBurney Manor is a house that has retained it’s over 160-year-old charm and ambience. In making a few modern improvements, the integrity of the house has not been compromised. The rooms are uniquely decorated to accent the antique flavor of the house. A room with a queen-size bed has a lovely fireplace, while twin beds occupy the room across the hall. A newly installed modern bathroom is shared by the guests. Just 20 minutes from Happy Valley's Penn StateUniversity Follow Route 26 from State College to Pine Grove Mills which takes a left at the flashing yellow light and travels on a senic ride over the mountain to Stone Valley. Rt 26 is also McAlevys Fort Road which ends at the intersection in McAlevys Fort. We are located directly across the road at the stop. Take a right at the intersection and you will pass our house on the left. Our drive is on the first left.
McBurney Manor is just 5 minutes from two beautiful state parks,and 15 minutes from our other neighboring valley,Big Valley.
