Overall our stay was very comfortable at unit P221. Upstairs has been remodeled. This unit also had a garage which makes for convenience.
Downstairs is where the bedrooms are. Master suite is quite large and has a ensuite bathroom. 2nd bedroom is small, has a tight but cosy ensuite bathroom as well. This room has no room for a dresser which when skiing you have a lot of extra gear. I would reccomend more wall hooks and on the back of bedroom door. Bathrooms are outdated which is the only let down but they do work. No exhaust fan in bathrooms. There is another full bath on the top floor.
First night was a little hot as getting used to the thermostat which is in main bedroom (why just one?) We were in smaller and I had to knock our friends awake to turn it down. Keep it about 60 and you will be fine. We loved having out very own shuttle...we have always stayed Ski-in/out but this was awesome!! It worked out wonderfully and we would all definitely stay here again.
I asked for more pillows and they arrived. Hot tub and pool all new and not far to walk to. Great proximity to mountain and base.
Was nice to pick up keys from on site front desk.

We booked last minute and got a great deal on Unit 221. It was clean, spacious, and well furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped. It was directly across the street from the end of the ski-in path, and just a very short walk back to the gondola, restaurant and slopes. Right next door were a small-but-complete grocery, a mexican restaurant, and a ski rental shop with friendly staff. The bus to town also stops right across the street. Every other day, there is a trash and towel service. There is a pool and two jacuzzis. Our last day (after checking out) we spent some time in the nice lobby, which has free coffee, a pool table, and various rooms with couches, and the people at the front desk watched our luggage. We had a great experience and recommend it highly.
“Convenient to the slopes but not very comfortable”

We've stayed in Steamboat for 12 years and this was by far the most uncomfortable unit we've rented. It was very dated, and the living room furniture was uncomfortable and not conducive to hanging out as a family after skiing or for the evening. The kitchen wasn't very well equipped for preparing meals. The second bedroom had two twin beds but was so small that there wasn't room for a dresser to unpack clothes, or even room to have a piece of luggage in the room. Finally, the heating system was inconsistent so that we were constantly either too hot or too cold. On the plus side we were very pleased with the proximity to the slopes and the Market on the Mountain.
