Beautiful home with everything you could want or need. Very clean. Lovely views, wonderful big decks that felt secluded. First class kitchen and the most fun for our group the large hot tub with an umbrella!

Gorgeous house with everything you need. The large, beautiful kitchen was the most complete I've ever encountered in all out travels. The shuttle was very prompt, friendly and helpful. Awesome staff. The only minor complaint I have is the hot tub smelled strongly of chemicals. Oh, and upon check in I'd rephrase the sentence "Sign here so we can bring charges against you". Kind of starts your vacation on a negative note.
"Amazing trip, would definitely stay here every year!"

Stayed here with 15 friends for a 4 day weekend. What a great time - the shuttle was so convenient and amy and Dillon, the shuttle drivers, were outstanding. Always super friendly and helpful. The house was better than we expected, so much space, heated floors, daily housekeeping, and the heated garage was perfect for keeping all of our ski boots warm :) I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in steamboat and enjoy a relaxing getaway! Thank you so much :)

Giant View Lodge was perfect! We had great weather and skiing, but the house was a great location and the shuttle drivers were awesome. It was the most well appointed house I've ever stayed in - literally, had everything we needed plus a lot more. Lots of towels, the kitchen was loaded with anything you would need and is a pain to go out and buy for just a few days. We really appreciated having all the extras. Pioneer Ridge was very easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. The one weakness was the shuttle service at rush hour, mostly in the late afternoon - make sure you call well in advance.

We, meaning 5 couples and 8 kids, stayed in this house the weekend after Labor Day and loved it! The house was perfect for us. No one could believe how nice the house was. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, the views (especially sunset) were amazing, loved the deck and hot tub, and the TVs in the kitchen and living room worked out well for football games. The house had plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, etc. And I can't emphasize enough how much the adults loved the nice showers/bathtubs and the kitchen's Viking stove! Everything was in working order and when the dishwasher started leaking Friday morning, Pioneer Ridge had someone there fixing it. The only think I can complain about was something that only mother nature could control - the heat. Believe it or not, the weekend we were visiting it was 90 degrees! Therefore, the house got hot, but we used the side deck by the front door to hold our daily happy hour. :)
I had been looking around Steamboat for almost a month for a place to rent and once I found Pioneer Ridge, I was so pleased. They were nice and accommodating from the moment I contacted them. Again, I was impressed how quickly they took care of the dishwasher issue. Check-out was also as easy as dropping off the keys. I felt the location of the house was perfect, near grocery stores, town and right near the slopes. We plan to make this a yearly getaway and if we return to Steamboat, we'd love to rent the house again.

We brought the whole family and had a wonderful time in Steamboat. We have been skiing numerous times in the winter, but we always enjoy the summers when we come. The Giant View Lodge was certainly as advertised. The accomodations were first class, and we will definitely return.

Giant View Lodge was perfect for our needs. It was close to Gondola Square (free parking in Meadows Lot made going skiing easy), close to grocery stores, and had the amenities we wanted. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough cookware for our large group. Pioneer Ridge was very responsive to the few questions we had.
The only thing I would have like to have been able to do was to rebook for 2011 at the time of checkout. When I asked at checkout I was told to call to make new reservations.

The Giant View Lodge was absolutely everything we had hoped and more. Beautiful place, beautiful view, and extremely well equipped. There was nothing we needed for our stay that we didn't find at our finger tips. It was extremely comfortable and fun for all members of our family.
The heated garage and heated driveway made it both cozy and accessible. Would love to live there forever!!!

Service at Pioneer wa excellent--very responsive and helpful.
The house was great..very well set up and full of things you need. Internet, ping pong table, games and good kitchen equipment.
Only problen was one shelf--plastic buttons holding wine shelf--broke so wine glasses are out on the cabinet. Also the refridgerator is marginal--set on max cooling is barely doing the job..will need repair or replacement soon.
