We rented an great house on Steamboat. There were 5 adults and four boys in their early 20's. The house was well above our expectations. The rooms were large and the ski in/ski out location was fantastic.

We stayed at this house during a Feb ski break from school. We were 2 families 4 adults & 5 kids. We never felt cramped or needed more space - lots of room!
The place is great - there were just "cut corners" when the place was built - cheap fixtures, appliances, hardware, etc.
The home is really close to the ski hill. The kids were able to walk to the Christie lift by themselves and we never worried at all!
Possibly stay again if some things (stove, tv, windows, even the shower curtains) get repaired and/or replaced.

Wonderful stay for extended family and our 14-year old dog. The house had a few plumbing and heating issues, and the management company was very responsive in sending people out to fix things. Very spacious with an incredible view!

I was just at Ski Trail Lodge I and II for my 60th birthday celebration! I found this place on line and from the first phone call to Pioneer Ridge until the day I dropped off the keys and headed home, they were wonderful. The staff in the office, the housekeeping (since we did have alot of women) coming and going - alot of towels! and the maintenance men! All great, friendly and "jumped" when I asked for something!!! All of us, and there were alot!!! -- Loved the house. Both of them. I am sure we will return. I had a total of 40 people coming and going over the 10 day span and everyone wanted me to give them the contact info so that they can someday rent the house also! Thanks again for helping to make my 60th Birthday a great way to celebrate!

The check-in and reservation staff were very helpful. The house was clean when we arrived, though the tile in the kitchen could have been cleaner. We also had a maintainence problem that took them a day to address, but the guy who eventually came was exceptionally nice. It is a large place with a lovely layout and many windows. There was a large deck with great views. Really nice neighborhood on the mountain, with a staircase to the street that puts you right at the top of the Christie lift and a downhill walk to Gondola Square. Also right at the Thunderhead trail.
“Very relaxing with a great view and nice accommodations!”

The staff knew right away when I walked in what I was there for and it was nice not to get that blank look that one gets so many times, as if there is no reservation...Both were very friendly and the dog dish and treat were nice for our pooch..
The house was great with the open floor plan and alot of windows - not to mention the deck - to enjoy the great views..Well cared for lawn was nice for our dog to be able to play outside with us. The hot tub and sauna were also a plus. The bedrooms were very nice. The location provided privacy.

The home was everything we hoped for with plenty of room to spread out and comfortable furnishings. We especially enjoyed the private hot tub and two car garage. The views from the home were magnificent. Being within 100 yards of the Mt Christie mid-mountain lift made getting to and from skiing access a breeze. I would recomend this home to both families and groups of friends.

What began as a logistics challenge for me, the organizer for four families, was quickly reversed because of the staff's great support, help and very good advice.
Everyone loved the house, the view-everything!
One suggestion -- the kitchen is a bit sparsely equipped. Almost bought a few items to contribute but decided to make due (really needed a large pasta pot for a crowd such as ours. Measuring spoons would have been helpful-very helpful. Fortunately we have gourmet cooks in the crowd who were able to 'estimate".
