Located in the Mountain base area off of Mt Werner road, this refurbished 4bd/5ba Moraine Town Home is less than a ½ mile from the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort, which is a short ride on the FREE shuttle, a quick 2 minutes when driving by car, or an easy walk along the path to the base of the Ski area. You are also also only a few blocks from the Rollingstone Ranch Golf Course and the Steamboat Nordic Center. The Moraine Town Homes have an outdoor pool (summer only) and shared outdoor hot tubs that are open year round.
The large open floor plan on the 1st level allows you to move freely from the kitchen, dining area (seating for 10-13) or the extra large living room with plenty of windows and a large deck framing the beautiful valley and mountains of Steamboat! The fully equipped kitchen with all stainless appliances and breakfast bar will be a welcome site for the cook in your family.
When your meal is complete, your group is free to watch a movie or catch the big game while sitting on one of the leather couches in front of the 37inch flat screen TV. You are also free to finish that favorite novel or plan the next day's adventures in front of the gas fireplace.
After you decide to retire for the evening and rest your muscles from a day on the slopes or a hike in the mountains, the two master bedrooms include all the comforts you need for a peaceful night’s sleep. Each master bedroom includes a king bed, full bathroom and your own private balcony.
The remaining two bedrooms include 2 twins beds in guest bedroom #3 and two twins in bedroom #4 (perfect for the kids). All bedrooms include plenty of closet space as well. There are 5 full bathrooms located within the town home as well. You can also forget about scraping the snow and ice off your windshield by parking your vehicle in the heated garage where there is plenty of room to store your skis and snowboards in the winter or bikes and golf clubs in the Summer months.

We always love Steamboat and this condo is in a great location near the ski area base and close to town (close to shuttle too). The condo is comfortable although a few updates would make it great (updated bedding / cookware). The condo community in general is well kept and all of the neighbors were very friendly.
Brad, the property manager, was great when he had an issue with the tv in the teenager's room - he came by right away to fix it!

We've used rental homes/condos/town homes/houseboats all over the world for fun trips and vacations. Finding comfortable, clean, affordable places that are convenient to area venues is key for making our vacations extra special. This town home made our recent Steamboat trip just that - extra special. Here's what we liked the most:
1. Plenty of space for large gatherings but you can also find privacy because each bedroom is on it's own level.
2. Lots of niches to play board games, take naps, or conduct business if needed.
3. A well-stocked kitchen with updated appliances. Cooking was fun!
4. Very comfortable beds. We were pleasantly surprised that all the mattresses were new.
5. Unique furnishings and multiple balconies to enjoy morning coffee, evening dessert, bird watching, or for just enjoying the beautiful mountain views.
6. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom, plus there's an extra bathroom if needed. All were in perfect working order.
Great for family trips, girl or guy trips, and couples trips. Close to trailheads of all difficulty ratings. Scouted for a winter return and was pleased that the property is close to the ski base and that the bus stop is a short walk away (and free!). Downtown shops, restaurants and grocery stores are terrific and close. We're looking forward to a return trip!

This is the third time we have visited Steamboat and stayed at this condo. The first two times were in winter and we had a wonderful time with great access to the slopes and a lot of room for our family. This trip was in early august and Wow. Steamboat is a great place in the summer with hiking and other outdoor experiences. We ate out at nearby restaurants and sat outside on the patio each time, what a fantastic experience. Having the condo, with all the windows and doors open on all the levels is a fantastic set up. We sat for hours on the porch, enjoying coffee with our friends, watching the humming birds and taking in the awesome views. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

I have stayed at the Moraine Town Home #23 on two occasions. This town house is very comfortable with a well decorated living room and four spacious bedrooms. There is access to a hot tube(year around) and a pool that is located right beside the condo.
The townhouse is within walking distance, if you desire, to the ski slopes and a short 5 minute drive to the many great restaurants of Steamboat.
This townhouse was a very clean, relaxing place to stay. I would definitely recommend this town home to everyone.
“Enjoyed our time, a couple small issues, but a comfy place”

We enjoyed our stay but there were some minor issues; the fans didn't work in all the bathrooms; the twin mattresses were very uncomfortable, so the kids had to sleep on the couches, which didn't allow for much entertainment space for us adults after bedtime; drain in shower of one of the master baths didn't drain well; the TVs in some of the bedrooms need updating and access to cable.

The house is beautiful and in a great location. It is spacious, well furnished and like new. It convenient to the slopes and the bus line. We saw bears eating the crab apples in the trees out front! It was a joy to return after biking and hiking.

This townhouse exceeded my expectations. I was lucky enough to take a "Girls Trip" with two of my good friends and had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home. I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our unit. We each had a very large bedroom housed on it's very own level. Each of the bedrooms also had an attached full bath and outdoor deck/balcony. We even had an extra bedroom and two extra full baths. The furnishings were very current and in excellent condition. The decor in the home were very tasteful and inviting. The kitchen was great, with new stainless steel appliances and outfitted with everything we needed! It was really nice to have a rental that was so well equipped. The best thing about the unit was it's location. It was a very short distance to the ski area and equally close to the main road leading to downtown Steamboat. We rented bikes and jumped on the bike path that was within a mile of our unit. It was also close to great places to hike and eat. I plan to return to Steamboat with my family and plan to stay in this home when I return. There is nothing not to love ... especially the price ... what a deal!
