Seven of us ages 25-64 recently stayed at Storm Meadows Townhome 13. We were constantly commenting how friendly and helpful everyone was. We shuttled nearly everywhere we went on and off the mountain--so handy, especially for those of us from the South who do not normally drive in snow--price was included in rental; we only tipped each time. All the shuttle drivers went above and beyond to be courteous and helpful. In fact, every Steamboat employee seemed to go above and beyond to make vacationing fun. Our condo was completely stocked with all the essential cooking, cleaning, bathing, etc. supplies. I was totally shocked when the laundry girl appeared to pick up soiled towels and deliver clean ones everyday!!! What a pleasant surprise! We did have a washer and dryer that we used daily for our ski clothes. We saved money and had extra fun by cooking at the condo and eating in much of the time, but we found some really good restaurants also. I would definitely recommend Riggio's Ristorante and Rex's american Grill. We discovered a bit too late for most of us that ski rental at Sports authority, Market Place Plaza, is about half what it is at Terry's on the mountain. The only issue I had with the townhome was that the ski-in/ski-out was a bit misleading. Our ski-out was definitely not for beginning skiers!!! Even though I had skied before, my two hardest falls were on the ski-out path (steep incline) leading to the trail! We also would have liked to have had access to the hot tub. There was one on our back balcony, but it was padlocked, and we were told not to use it. All in all, Storm Meadows Townhome 13 was a good place to stay, and Steamboat is a great place to vacation!
