Left on 04/03/2014 for a stay in March 2014 | Two Lovejoy FamiliesReviewed Apr 3, 2014Stayed Mar 2014
Our recent stay in this townhouse was exceptional. Two families with 5 boys between us shared this home for the week and we had more than enough space. The downstairs gameroom was a big plus for us so that the kiddos had a place of their own to go in the evenings to play games or watch movies while the adults were able to enjoy conversations, cocktails, and quiet in the upstairs family area. We had several families go on this ski trip and those who stopped by "our place" all commented on how wonderful and spacious it was. It was very well appointed with everything we needed to cook our family style dinners in the evenings too. One evening we cooked for four families and there were plenty of plates, glasses, flatware, etc. for all. After a long day on the slopes the last thing the kiddos wanted to do was go sit in a restaurant so the kitchen with all of its amenities was absolutely wonderful! Then the private hot tub out the back door made it even better! The children utilized that even more than the adults!
While it's not considered a ski in-ski out, you certainly can!! Those who are a little better skiers (not my 6 year old) can absolutely ski right out the back and ski right back in when the day is done off of the Why Not trail. The family we stayed with utilized this option on several occasions which made it perfect for skiing in around lunchtime to grab a quick bite then skiing back out to the slopes for the afternoon. And, if you prefer to take the shuttle, there is a free private shuttle that will come get you and take you directly to the lifts. You get the best of both worlds!
We definitely recommend this townhouse to anyone who would love an excellent ski place with a great view of the slopes. And, while you do have a one car garage with this townhouse it is not attached to this particular unit. It is attached to the building that this unit is in but not accessible by the unit itself. It is only a short private walk to it however.
