150 year-old stone cottage in Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with enclosed garden and patio with chairs and table overlooking fields down to the River Dart. Walking distance to Stoke Gabriel, a picturesque village on the River Dart with traditional pubs and small shop,and 4 miles from Totnes and Paignton.

French doors from kitchen onto lawned garden with lovely view. Separate dining room seating 6 with pine table and chairs and original copper and fireplace.

Take the A385 from Totnes, passing Longcombe Garden centre on the Left. On the right is a cardealer and sign to Stoke Gabriel, take this turning into Aish, Rowan Cottage is facing you with a plaque on the gatepost. Our parking is in front through the gate,the area is shared with the neighbours opposite and our 2 spaces are nearest the road.
Totnes is 4m away and has lovely shops,cafes and restaurants both up the historic main street and by the river, an Elizabethan market and classic English castle.
Paignton has beaches and a world-renowned Zoo.
Stoke Gabriel is about 20mins walk down a track just past the postbox if you continue 100yds down Aish Road from the cottage. It is a pretty village on the river with a church, olde worlde pub, The Church House,with log fire, horsebrasses and does very good food. Crab-catching (there are nets and lines in the shed!) is great fun for children off the Mill Pond wall.
Back across the A38, Dartmoor is accessible for walking on the hills and tors.
