This home was remodeled in 2007 in a style I call Frank Lloyd Wright meets the Cascades. It is a high end rental that sleeps 12 people in 4 bedrooms and a Hide-a-bed in the upstairs Family room. The Living room has a 42" surround sound TV with plenty of seating. The downstairs master has a King-size thermopedic bed. The bathroom has a low-threshold shower with a hand held sprayer for those with limited mobility. Light the candles around the soaking tub for a relaxing time after a busy day on the slopes or biking.
The upstairs Master has a regular King-size bed and a bath with a shower over tub. Kids will enjoy the Twin-over-Full bunk bed with a twin trundle underneath. The back bedroom has a Queen-size bed. These two rooms share a bathroom with a shower. All bedrooms have their own TV/DVD player. Downstairs there is a bathroom with a shower off the living room.
The Family room has a 42" surround sound TV that is perfect for movies and gaming. The foosball table is fun for the one-on-one challenges or team play. The mini bar upstairs makes it so you may not see the kids until you leave!
The kitchen is so wonderful you won't even mind cooking on vacation. Its fully equipped with all the pots and pans you will need and no mismatched plates or silverware. Plenty of seating in the dining room for 12 when you bring out the folding table (you can fit 8 around the table if you get squishy).
Downstairs doors are 36" and there's a portable ramp for the 12" step up to the living room.
Outside, the deck wraps around 3/4 of the house with a hot tub big enough for 8. Night time is my favorite for soaking in the hot tub with a great view of the stars. Put your favorite beverage in a plastic cup and you can have your own private party. There's plenty of seating and a BBQ for summertime get togethers. The property adjoins common area so there's no feeling like the neighbors are right on top of you, even though you're across the street from the 7th tee box at the Meadows Golf Course. Two adult bikes are available for your convenience.
No need to bring anything except your clothes, its all here. Bedding, towels, beach towels, hairdryers, soap, shampoo-all the basics. There usually are spices and boxed or dried items (flour, sugar, spaghetti, oil, salt, sugar) left by me or a previous guests. A small amount of coffee and filters will be here for your first morning here. Run out of clean clothes? There's a full size washer and dryer and a small amount of laundry soap.
There is room for two cars in the garage and 4 more on the driveway. Sorry, No RV or trailers are allowed to park in Sunriver other than at the SROA storage yard, and there is no on-street parking.
Pets are considered with a $200 pet deposit from which a minimum of $50 will be deducted for the additional cleaning.
It's an easy 15-20 minute walk to the Village and another 10 minutes to get to the SHARC. Sorry, no free passes are available but you can purchase daily passes for $25 or multi-day passes. Check the SROA website for prices, dates, and what's going on at the SHARC. The indoor pool is available year-round as is the sledding hill. I think Mavericks has a daily pass available, but you'll need to contact them directly for more info. Sunriver Resort owns the golf courses, call them for tee times. Tennis anyone? SROA manages our tennis and pickle ball courts. Winter or summer, there's always something fun to do in Sunriver, even if it's sitting on the deck doing nothing.
Mt Bachelor is just 20 miles for your skiing and riding pleasure. It is one of the West's premier ski areas and has runs for all levels. The facilities are some of the best and pricing is reasonable . Some years Mt B has lifts open in summer for downhill biking and evening dining at the mid-mountain lodge. The views are spectacular.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me before reserving your dates. There is a $100 re-booking fee for cancellations up to 3 months prior to arrival. NO REFUNDS for cancellations within 120 prior to arrival, for late arrivals, early departures or evictions. I highly suggest travel cancellation insurance, it is an inexpensive way to protect yourself in case you or someone in your party needs to change travel plans. Since coordinating the schedules of up to 12 people at least three months in advance can problematic, (sport tournaments, illness, death in the family, the niece calls off her wedding; I've heard them all!) cancellation insurance can take the sting out of paying for a vacation you can't utilize.
Ready for some Sunriver fun? Round up the kids and a grandparent or two and reserve your date now! Reservations are put on the calendar when the deposit is made and just because the calendar looks free, I may be waiting on someone else's deposit-I often have 2-3 quotes out at a time. Don't loose your spot!
Thanks for considering my home for your Sunriver vacation,
