“Location, comfort and good people...” Three of my friends and I stayed at the Haadrin Seaview Villa during the first week of Feb. In the process of selecting this particular Villa I reviewed a number of other options but kept on coming back to this as one of the best from a location vs value for money proposition. Andy and Yuko were very responsive both via email and text messages initially thus the booking of the accommodation was a breeze. One has a tendency to make certain assumptions via photos prior to actually seeing a property and in this case the Villa exceeded my expectations. It has three equally sized bedrooms in the upper lounge area that is open plan with the kitchen. This in turn opens up onto a large deck that faces South so gets the sun all day. There is plenty of seating and a hammock so 90% of the time at the Villa was spent in this space. The upstairs bathroom was also in excellent condition (hot water). Downstairs there is a Jacuzzi that comfortably sits two (three at a push). We mainly used this as a plunge pool to cool down - great feature to have. There is also a secondary bathroom downstairs that comes equipped with a washing machine. So bottom line is the Villa itself is fantastic. The other major attraction are the owners. Both andy and Yuko are very friendly and are available at all times to help out if needed. Location is also critical. The house is 5 min by scooter to Haad Rin (fortunately far enough away from the crowds) and 2 min to a 7/11 that has an aTM. There is also a scooter hire place directly across the road. Of course nothing is perfect so it is important to note that the house is high up on the hill over looking Samui. The walk from the main Haad Rin road to the house is up a number of steps. Once you have a scooter you can get 2/3rds of the way up the hill but there is still about a 30 second walk up hill so if you have any mobility issues this place may not be for you. Overall a great week was had. Fully recommend. You won't be disappointed.

“The loveliest piece of paradise on the island” We stayed in this enchanted castle( only way to describe this fantastic place) in the summer for a week. The place itself was amazing set amongst fruit trees and jungle and overlooking the marine park. Our two kids thought they had died and gone to heaven with the affinity pool and spent almost every minute they possibly could jumping in and out. The house was so beautifully decorated and stylish with absolutely everything you need and more. Every morning we sat outside on the patio for breakfast and watched the brightly coloured birds and butterflies, it was great to be on top of the hill because we always got a fresh breeze up there too. Plus the added bonus of iews across the marine park. The bedrooms were again beautifully decorated and with our own bathrooms. We just fell in love with the place. One day we decided to walk up the hill to the house for a good walk and even saw a tiny monkey. I can't say enough great things about the house and the family that own it. We stayed when Eva and her family were there and we had a great time with her and the kids. They really went out of their way to ensure we had a great time and all the kids had loads of fun together in the pool. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better beginning to our holiday. There is so much to explore around the island that you can never get bored, the nature is fantastic and for children it's an adventure paradise. The kids are still telling everyone at school about the great holiday they had and their new friends at the Enchanted Hills, they obviously focus on swimming pool games and film nights and the local markets where we discovered the most fantastic places o eat on the beach. We can never thank Eva and the kids enough for the hospitality they gave us, we always remember with big smiles on our faces the Enchanted Hills. If you ever get chance to visit Thailand make this house your first port of call.

“Paradise Found” This was our first trip to Thailand & after 3 nights in Bangkok we were looking forward to our stay in Koh Samui, from the moment we arrived at the lovely picturesque airport we new it was going to be special. We have done the package holidays many times before so this was a first, staying in a self catering villa. We couldn't of asked/picked a better place to stay.The villa was like brand new, inside & out, it was just as the photos showed on the website. Great size of rooms, lovely relaxing living/dining area, with all the mod-cons Satellite TV,DVD, WiFi, I-Pod docking station for listening to your music poolside with the outside speaker system, fantastic covered chill-out seating area poolside with mini fridge sink & hob. Walking distance to Big Buddha & Wat Plai Laem, convenience stores within 3 minutes walking distance, the lovely Choeng Mon beach only 3 minutes by car & plenty of local tasty restaurants there too. All in all a brilliant vacation & great memories to cherish. Hope to return again in the not too distant future & without doubt we will be staying here again in this villa.

“The Secret Is out - Simply Lush...” Wow - Everything about this villa is beautiful, the architecture, the setting on secluded Haad Thong Lang beach takes your breath away. My partner and i stayed in villa 2. It has the type of living space that allows you to put your sandy feet up after a walk on the beach, and feel right at home the moment you step inside, without ever compromising on style and taste. I like a little luxury in life and Dee Dee gave me just that (with bells on!) We are definately coming back here...and soon

“Great villa , good peaceful location !!” Very nice experience , we were picked up from the ferry terminal and taken to the villa , all the rooms are beautiful !! 10 mins to tesco lotus or Big C supermarket , 5 mins to cheweng beach perfect spot, Only negative comment I would make was there is no airconditioning in the main room which got very hot it was 34OC inside and 30OC Outside !!

“The Ultimate Island Escape” Villa M must be the most beautiful place for a relaxing holiday possible. Right on a beach, surrounded by palm trees, islands in the distance, and Fisherman Village shops and restaurants close by. It has the best location on Samui and 6 days there was the ultimate island escape. Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own bathroom, and with 2 living areas, we all had our space. The staff are all friendly and discreet and the villa manager can arrange for anything that you want to see or do. Continental Breakfast provided, including selection fresh tropical fruit. Each night we visited one of the many restaurants in Fisherman's Village, even ate at some of the stalls, all within easy walking distance of the villa But you can choose to stay in and eat your meals at home, which we did on the last night.The Chef prepared for us probably the best Thai food we have eaten anywhere in the world. It rained a couple of days, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves in this beautiful home reading, watching Dvd's, looking at the magnificent view. Relaxing is what holidays are about. Liked-everything about Villa M, especially the location. Disliked: that we were only there for 6 days !

“Few days in Paradise” We went there with the aim to stay in a nice house and to discover the island as well. But this place is so nice that we went to the nearby beach only once and spent the rest of our stay within the property, feeling like at home. There is a huge pool, plenty of room to sit back and relax and, last but not least, the food is delicious and prepared by a very nice staff, who made our stay memorable. Why bother to go elsewhere?

“A perfect place for a perfect holiday” We had a "Mums n Daughters" holiday here - myself, my Mum, my aunty and her daughter. To sum up our stay in one word: bliss. The accommodations are perfect, beds were comfy, rooms were clean and when we had food prepared for us it was outstanding. And I don't think you can beat the view, just amazing. The whole booking process was very smooth, Caran was very helpful and always prompt with responding. I think our stay was made even better with the excellent managers of the villa. Andrew and Pon - we can't thank you enough, you really made our stay. Very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Book in and I guarantee you'll have an amazing stay. And make sure you arrange for Pon to prepare you a meal - best thai food ever!

“An Unforgettable Villa!” What a wonderful way to arrive at Rob's; chauffeur driven by Oh, his villa manager, and your font of all knowledge for Koh Samui should you need it! The drive to Rob's is a short distance from the airport. As you ascend the hill upon which Rob's villa is perched, you feel the sense of leaving the hustle and bustle behind, passing on your way a water buffalo in the tamed jungle (at this level) and an immaculately maintained golf course. If you are lucky you may even see a few elephants as we have! Perched on the hill is Rob's villa Samprasada. You are greeted with orange garlands of marigolds draped over the compound gate. Inside, the villa is beautifully and immaculately presented. Our family of five fell in love with the architecture, the lush and well-planted gardens, the antique and Thai mixed furniture and statues, and the most glorious outdoor tropical showers and baths. The subtlety of design and sublime use of lighting and sound makes you feel as if you really have entered into paradise. Words cannot do justice to the pool placed at the centre of the villa; fragile red and blue dragonflies do the mating dance as they follow you up and down the pool. From the main bedroom one opens the sliding door and slips effortlessly into the heavenly water. One could easily stay up here, away from it all, but if you need to venture out the upmarket Fisherman's Village with the most delectable cuisine is only a 5 minute drive away. We live in London but yet have found the best Indian food tucked away in Fisherman's village! Rob, a most charismatic and attentive owner of this luxury property, has detailed information available for all his guests which cover the wide range of activities and attractions available in the area. Of course, beaches with azure blue crystal clear waters are only minutes away from the villa. We have returned to Samprasada a few times now and would highly recommend this property to anyone who seeks tropical luxury and total relaxation.
