Missing wardrobes but not a show stopper

Left on May 12, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The property was very warm and cosy, but the dining chairs weren't comfy and two of the bedrooms had no wardrobes which meant a clothing storage problem. Beautiful area all around this property, great walks and the local Tram Inn served good food, but need to book as it's very popular. Aside from the wardrobe issue, the two bathrooms and downstairs toilet were perfect for our party of two …

Superb!!

Left on Oct 12, 2011 for a stay in October 2011

Sixteen friends took this barn for the weekend and everything about it was superb. We had space to separate out to read or watch tv in comfort after our walks in the beautiful countryside,or to go and play table tennis, or relax in the hot tub. There were plentiful supplies of glasses for pre-dinner drinks, and masses of china and crockery . We could all sit around a large table on comfortable …

This is a property with the wow factor

Left on Nov 22, 2010 for a stay in September 2010

Excellent stay for a week with six adults including myself. The house was exactly as featured in a lovely part of Herefordshire. A complete get away from it all experience with tranquil surroundings and plenty of wildlife. The owner had thought of everything and we wanted for nothing. We recommend the Crown in Woolhope for food as well.

Comfortable, quiet, as described. Ideal for restful stay

Left on Feb 26, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

This is a nice location. Suitable for two people, ideal for a solo traveler. The large studio-style bedroom/Living room is lovely and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are both a good size and well appointed. My only criticism would be the TV. As a solo traveler, it is a key point for me and I found it a bit too small.

I would also suggest that this is a good choice for …

Beautiful cottage in idyllic surroundings

Left on Sep 04, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We booked this very last minute but were able to stay for the last two nights of the summer holidays with our three children (16, 14 and 10). The cottage is in a really wonderful spot, it is a classic old cottage with lots of interesting features. It was very clean and tidy on arrival. The garden is lovely, with river rushing past, you can sit and have your breakfast in peace and tranquility.

Left on Jul 29, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

If you need a place to slip away from the hustle and bustle, this is it. But be prepared for visitors of the feathered and furred variety! I spent a quiet time here hosted by a couple who have transformed a former industrial revolution site (a former pumphouse) near Ledbury into a delightful retreat in a Herefordshire woodland setting. The attention to detail, provisions and comfort of the one …
