Love the layout and setting of the home. Two bedrooms and the couch beds had dirty bedding on them. The couch bed on main floor in one area you basically fell through. The ceiling fans were dusty also.
"It was a wonderful week of family fun and togetherness."

The house is beautiful, the cove was lovely. Everyone had a great time of boating, tubing, etc. The only reason we are not renting this again is because a grandson will be getting married and we'll need more bedrooms. We decided to rent the house next door, but will recommend Wild Wild West to others. Thank you!

Great deck and back yard! Access to make was terrible; the weeds were high and very muddy. The grass was high and came to cut it in the middle is the day when we were trying to set up for a cook out! The place was clean and spacious. If your looking for the lake front home.. This would not be the first choice. Pay for it, but don't really get it the nice view or a great lake entrance!
"A great place for 6 couples who have been long time friends to g"

We are 6 couple who have known each other for over 25 years and getting away together for min vacations for 13 years. This is our 4th trip to Deep Creek and we all agree that Wild Wild West is the best place we have stayed yet. Everything was perfect from the 4 master bedrooms to the great kitchen and dining area. The weather for the 1st week of april also couldn't have been any better and allowed us to enjoy both the upper deck and the lower patio. The views of the lake were great and we got to watch a herd of 9 deer almost every night along with ducks and geese. The house are pretty close but thankfully all the others were not being rented during our stay which gave us the whole cove to ourselves. This would make a great place for family vacation. Long and Foster people were fantastic. They were not only a joy to work with but were very informative and helpful. We would recommend this place to all

I have stayed in Mackenzie's Mountain next door to the Wild Wild West and the smaller house on the other side previously, but this was my first time staying at this particular house. For the most part, we loved our stay and the kids had a great time. The only complaints were that the ice-maker on the refrigerator didn't work, the 2 small refrigerators under the wet bar didn't work, and several of the dining area chairs were coming apart - nothing that a little super glue couldn't remedy. Also, we were given a key to the hot tub - the key and lock worked, but the screws that held the strap in place had both come out making the key useless. A couple of people in my party remarked that it would have been awesome if some of the trees were knocked down in the back yard so that they could have a clear view of the lake (particularly when the kids were down by the lake).

This was a really great property. The home had tons of space that accommodated
18 adults comfortably without bumping into each other. We Loved it dearly. There
were a lot of different leisure rooms to get away or to just gather in different

We had numerous leaks in the house including one in which water was coming through an overhead recessed light (electrical + water= trouble). There was also leaking taking place in multiple bedrooms and in the kitchen faucet.
We've done a trip like this for the past 6 years and I would have to say that I would probably not choose this house again.

The 4 master bedrooms were laid out in a way that provided privacy for everyone (even the one in the basement was far enough away from the family room action). We had 4 couples and 7 teenagers and were easily accommodated so that everyone had their space. The hot tub was operational (not always the case), clean, and in a great spot just off the first floor living area. The owner very kindly stocked the closet on the porch with firewood. The kitchen was well appointed for a large group. Lamps on both sides of every bed (important for readers ... you often don't find this). The only disappointing thing was the 'lakefront' status. This home is on a very small cove and at this time of year as the lake water is very low, it was more swamp than lakefront. Bathrooms were all immaculately cleaned. Couple of minor maintenance issues (faucet in kitchen leaks, couple of the overhead fans were unusable as they were installed pretty haphazardly, some ceiling leak damage in the downstairs bathroom) .. but not of this was major enough to distract from the comfort of the home. Would definitely rent this house again.
