Looking to slow down life a few notches & smell the roses?? Then this is the place for you!!
Casa De Las Flores is on the island of Taboga located just 12 miles from the coast of Panama City. Taboga (known itself as the "Island of Flowers") is only accessible by a short ferry ride from the Amador Causeway several times per day. As our guest, we will have someone meet you at the dock upon your arrival to Taboga & take you to our casa where our housekeeper will greet you and give you all the necessary information about the house and the Island.
Casa De Las Flores is a charming, quaint home overlooking the Pacific Ocean with just a four minute walk down to the beach. Our home sits on a hill with a spectacular covered patio where you will find yourself spending most of your time either enjoying your meals, taking in a siesta, reading a book sipping a fresh cocktail or smelling the flowers (email: hidden)ract humming birds & beautiful butterflies. There is plenty of privacy due to the 10-14' gated fence of bougainvillea flowers that surrounds the whole property. This home comes equipped with 3 bedrooms & 2 1/2 bathrooms, air conditioning in all rooms, telephone, television, DVD player and internet access. There is no cable TV so bring your own movies!! We anticipate you will be enjoying the outdoors! Wink Wink!
At night while siting on the patio , you will have a peaceful respite for watching the lights from a distance of all the ships lined up to cross the canal or just taking in the most amazing view of the moon and the stars that you have ever seen.
The island of Taboga is a very quaint Island with approx. 900 residents. It has a vast history dating back to the Conquistadors, the pirate Captain Morgan and is home to the 2nd oldest church in the Western hemisphere. There is even a dedication on the island to the French painter Paul Gauguin who visited in 1887. This island boasts fishing, diving and nature trails. Depending on the season you can get fresh crab, lobster, shrimp and octopus from the local fishermen which our housekeeper can arrange for you. For a small fee our housekeeper can also cook daily meals, wash your clothes and assist you with other requests. In addition, we can arrange for your airport pick up and provide you with hotel & tours options in Panama City.

I am happy to have had the opportunity to stay at this property twice. Everything about it is amazing. This home affords you the privacy you crave when on vacation without taking away from the wonderful views a tropical destination offers. Taboga is a remarkable island full of history which you can explore by foot! It is easy to believe you are the only person who knows the secret and serenity of this island treasure. The property itself is well maintained and beautiful in its own right. You have everything you can think of away from home. The housekeeper is equally amazing and helpful in all aspects of your stay. She even arranges for fresh fish from the local fishermen! Whether having breakfast or dinner on the incredible patio, enjoying wine or reading a book you will love this home. In a nutshell, it's easy to relax and just simply enjoy the scenery. This is my home away from home. I can't wait to go back.

My Island family vacation was unbelievable. The view was to die for!!! Every morning I especially enjoyed the spectacular sunrises on the spacious patio overlooking the ocean while having my coffee and breakfast. They had the coziest hammocks in the patio that I spent a lot of time relaxing and distressing from everyday life. The people are friendly and the island is quaint and safe. The housekeeper is an amazing cook, she was helpful and nonintrusive. I would highly recommend her services as they were very reasonable. I would definitely go back again!
Thank you for your lovely comment & happy to know you & your family enjoyed your stay...indeed life on the Island is totally relaxing and stress free...even if it's only for a while. Hope to have you coming back again in the near future.
