We had a glorious stay here! Spectacular location and views of the Tasman Bay amongst olive trees and vineyards. The house had all the high end amenities with a kitchen any gourmet cook would fall in love with. We bought local fish and wine and had spectacular dinners on the gorgeous deck with lovely fires under the stars later in the evening. The spa was a welcome treat after long hikes in Abel Tasman, Queen Charlotte Trail and up Mt Arthur. So many wonderful things to do close by. Had thought we would do more distant traveling but there was no need to go too far. The bikes and kayaks were wonderful too. Beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this exquisite home!

I spent a couple days at the villa after 3 wonderful days at the Waters B+B which is located on the same property and can’t say which place I loved more. The villa has a wonderful 22 m pool with a built in 3,5 m bench under the water where I soaked in the amazing view over the whole Tasman bay and Kina Peninsula. The view from my suite room was equally stunning and I decided to just stay there and enjoy this unique place rather than taking further excursion – all great but when you come back you feel like never leaving again….hope to come back soon to this unique place
Thank you very much! we are very happy you enjoyed Windhover Suites and The Waters - looking forward to welcome you again at beautiful Kina beach with a bottle of our house wine!

We stayed at this villa in februari when it is summer in NZ.
We were blown away by the vieuws from the villa. It is one of the most beautifull spots I have ever seen. ( and I tell you, I have been al over the world) If you have your breakfest in the morning on the deck with the ocean vieuw you whish you had it every day of the year.
The villa is beautifull, well equiped and the kitchen is for a chef something he wants to cook immidiatly.Bedrooms, bathrooms and so on are clean and spacious. The pool is big and has a perfect temperature.
For a country were is such a lot to see, if you are in the villa you have not realy the intention to travel a lot around due to the fact that it is so relaxing in and around the house that the need to go away is'nt there. We want to go back for sure!!

We have truly enjoyed our four-day trip to Kina Beach. We were staying right in the main building of the sprawling luxury estate. The morning swim in the beautifully designed 25 m pool - overlooking the gorgeous Kina Beach gave our days a very special beginning. The breakfasts on the spacious terrace with view on the magnificent vineyards and the incomparable sight on the sea, made it difficult for us to break up in order not to linger longer. The excursions in the area are varied and wide-ranging; it would be an unforgivable sin, to be there and have not explored, the outstanding abel Tasman National Park with all its natural treasures and its superb impressiveness. A hang glider flight over Kina Beach was simply breath-taking and unforgettable. The trip to the most northern point of the South Island to Farewell Split with silent walks on the lengthy stretched beach plus resting on the sand dunes was healing balm for our souls. The crowning end of our perfect days was the jointly prepared dinner in the luxury kitchen of the property and of course the comfortably relaxing bath in the well-tempered indoor whirlpool. A holiday location where "nothing is must but anything is possible". From golfing on the idyllic 9-hole course - only a two minutes' drive or kayaking in the beautiful Kina Bay, shopping at the nearby Nelson to unforgettable excursions to abel Tasman- everything was just fantastic, but the next time we will stay longer to admire the wonderful nature, and the unique ambience of the estate more extensive.
