Description
This bright apartment is situated in Playa de Taurito (55 km from the airport) which is the last bay before Puerto de Mogan, the small town that is very much liked by everyone because of its canals, bridges, harbour and restaurants.
Taurito is in the middle of the Southwest coast of Gran Canaria which guarantees you the best weather of the whole island.
From the terrace you enjoy magnificent views of the sea which is about 250m from the apartment (bird's-eye view).
At night you can even hear the sea from the terrace as well as from inside your bedroom.
Due to its location you can enjoy the sun fully and directly from noon till the beautiful sunset. Part of the terrace is covered for those who prefer the shade.
When you want to sunbathe in the morning, you can either go to the beach where you've got sun very early or you can go to the pool terrace of the complex. The pool is not heated and divided in 2 parts: one part is for adults and one part for kids. There are enough sun loungers at the pool and also some umbrellas.
The apartment itself was completely refurbished in September 2014.
There is a new open kitchen ( microwave, huge fridge) and a brand new bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
You have also extra linen for the beds and all the towels you need (bathing as well as beach towels). We also provide cleaning material, if you should want to clean in between your arrival and departure.
In the bedroom you find 2 new single beds (190cm * 180cm) with new mattresses (there is a Sofabed too 190cm * 160cm ) and more wardrobe space to ensure you can put away all your clothing & stuff conveniently.
There are new curtains in the bedroom and living room to guarantee a healthy goodnight sleep.
There's also satellite TV and internet.
There's an extendable table for those few occasions people would like to eat or sit at a table inside, cause on the terrace, where you'll probably spend more time, you'll find a Ibiza Modern Chill out terrace for 3 till 5 people.
The complex offers nice gardens and views from everywhere, free Wi-Fi at the reception.
There's also a shop, pool bar and restaurant on site.
You can enter the complex by stairs or by a ramp and in the building there are lifts, so you are sure not to be forced to climb stairs in the complex with a trolley, buggy or old knees... ;-)
When you leave the complex and go to the right, you have a walk of nearly 10 minutes to go down to the roundabout. Here you'll find taxi's and the bus stop.
From the roundabout you also enter the resort of Taurito where you find tennis courts as well as mini-golf, a game hall, a few shops (including one where you can rent a car), a hairdresser, a supermarket (Spar), a few restaurants (in hotels), a huge water park and at the end of the resort you'll find the small but very nice natural beach with plenty of water sports (3 diving schools, jet-ski, parasailing, banana boat,...) and you'll also find a few restaurants right on the beach as well...
If you want to, you can get sun loungers and sun-shade (9 € for 2 sun loungers + umbrella for a whole day) and there's always a lifeguard at the beach.
Staying in this apartment and area guarantees you a nice holiday with a lovely sea view and with everything at hand in less than a 15 min walk.
If you want to go to a huge supermarket though with lots of fruits, veggies and meat, you can go to the Spar or Hiperdino in Puerto de Mogan (5 km) where you can even have your purchases delivered . Puerto de Mogan is also nice for an outdoor dinner and/or to walk around the canals and the harbour (you can also see part of this harbour from the terrace of the apartment).
If you really want to see crowds or you fancy a dance in a disco you can go to the other direction and head for Puerto Rico (9,5 km).
Going to Puerto de Mogan or Puerto Rico by bus will only cost you € 1,40/ person...

Response from the owner Hello I mentioned the pool was in mantainance and the water problem was fixed less then 2 days it was bank holiday too which you haven’t mentioned ! You stayed in a 5 star flat for 90€ which normally cost between 250 till 350 a day! You wanted a free holiday but Tripadviser did not gaved you any mone back! I have 95% positive feedback so it cant be miss sold and so bad etc ? You wanted taxi money too because for you 800 meters is far away etc . I have sended you abussive emails? I just said the true to you if that is abussive to you? You should google the area before you go on vacation! However i cant satisfy everyone!

“Well kept secret”
The apartment was very clean and straightforward to use. Nice Nespresso machine and free coffee tabs. Great South West facing balcony with lovely view of the bay. Near enough to Mogan and Arguineguin if you want to explore. 70+ restaurants in Mogan 30+ in Arguineguin. Arguineguin was more typically Spanish. Taurito beach was pleasant and not too crowded. What other reviews fail to mention is that the onsite Pool Bar actually serves really nice food reasonably priced and without all the hustle and bustle of Mogan. Pool area was well laid out and relaxed. Pool Bar staff polite and entertaining. In the evenings you can sit with magic views of the bay and dine in comfort with an almost personal chef! Chateaubriand was a hit. Will definitely return.

Response from the owner Very dirty people! They have broken the curtains and it was so dirty really ! I am contacting the company so they must pay me 500€ at least to get back all how it was! And my mistake was that i dont took the deposit!! Veey angry i am really!
