The only property in Telluride spread over five acres in a park-like setting, this remodeled (2009) condo looks out over that lovely open space, with surrounding San Juan Mountains.
Bedding: King bed, Queen bed, 2 twin beds (can be converted into a king bed).
With retro styling, the exciting colors inside compliment the exciting landscape outside. From the common 2nd floor hallway, you'll enter the unit and go downstairs a half-flight to the kitchen, dining and living room. Here you'll find a gas fireplace, flat-screen TV w/DVD, and stereo tuner. Sliding glass doors open onto a large deck off the living room with stairs down to the Telluride Lodge courtyard. The dining table seats 6, and the kitchen's granite counter tops and designer lighting add class.
Downstairs 8 more steps is a bedroom with a king bed and TV. Just outside the bedroom is a full bath with shower/ tub and pedestal sink.
Another half-flight down to the ground level is the second bedroom with queen bed, and a third bedroom with two twin beds that can be made into a king. In fall 2011, we added luxury linens and lush, thirsty towels. On this level is also a full bathroom with a shower/jacuzzi tub, and a washer and dryer in the hall closet. An exterior door gives access to the common grounds, and a boot bench in the entryway makes a great spot to get in and out of ski or snowboard gear.
The condo has views of ski mountain. New common outdoor and indoor hot tubs and a steam room were completed in 2010, located on the south end of the middle (400) building. Parking at Telluride Lodge is outdoor and is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Outdoor commons have gas grills and picnic tables for your use.
On the north end of Telluride Lodge is the grocery store. To the south, just across the street, walk over the San Miguel River bridge to the base of Lift #7 (Coonskin Lift), about 75 yards from the parking. Skiing, snowboarding, even sledding is easily accessed here. Other winter activities (sledding and ice skating) can be found in the Town Park, about 6 blocks away, up the river trail, or by free in-town shuttle.
Town Park is also the main stage for Telluride's many summer festivals. Hiking trails, mountain biking, mountain climbing (14-ers within reach) can all be found starting right from downtown Telluride. Historic mining sites and ghost towns are nearby day trips.

We were a party of five. Two couples and a sixteen year old. Visited in December for New Year's eve 2014.
The building seems outdated but what a surprise when we opened the door! The entire place has been redone - everything seemed to be brand new. Best feature: Heated floor. Great for taking heavy boots off after skiing and walking around without shoes. Second: Fire place (runs on gas). Third: a Whirlpool bathtub. Fourth: The kitchen and equipment.
The three separate bedrooms fitted us much better than many other offers that have a couch in the living room that turns into a bed. This way people could decide to go to bed or stay up and enjoy a movie or the fireplace at night.
It has three floors. That might not be something for people that don't like to take stairs (they are not steep btw.). We loved this because you felt like you had your very own apartment within the apartment.
Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need to fix a three course dinner (even a pasta machine). The bathrooms were new and the washer and dryer came in handy just like the porch next to the living room.
We were able to park right next to the apartment which made it very easy to unload the car. There is a parking lot behind it and a back entrance too. Public hot tubs (one indoor, one outdoor, running in December too) just across the parking lot. At the end of the building is a visitors center and a small but well sorted grocery store. On the other end is a bus stop and a ski lift. For this one though you would have to be an intermediate skier at least since it is a black run down the hill to get there. If you are a good skier you can consider this place almost a ski in ski out.
Check in and out took less than five minutes. Their office is located in the heart of downtown. Once during our stay we found a person cleaning it up - Hotel-like service. I guess we forgot, this wasn't our place ;-) Read more
Thank you so much for taking the time to thoroughly review your property. We hope we'll see you again.
"Great Time in Telluride"

I have stayed at the Telluride Lodge many times. This unit was one of my families favorites. There were just a couple of issues this time. We were not given the hot tub code or check out information when we registered and it was not in the condo. Also the kitchen did not have a dish cloth or pot holders. Every kitchen should have the basics. Other than that the condo was neat and clean and we had a great time. Read more
Thank you for your review. We value your opinion, especially as one of our regulars. We'll get more dish cloths & pot-holders into circulation ASAP. And see you again next summer.

Great place. Clean and nice. Very comfortable. The radiant heating system is a little too efficient! We had to open the doors and turn off the heat at night because it was so warm. Other that that it was a great place to stay and very convenient to the lift. Read more
Thanks for your review. The radiant heat is efficient, but slow to respond to change. I recommend the thermostat be no higher than 65. The solar gain in this condo is remarkable, with south patio doors and big west windows, so afternoons get warm. Hope we'll see you again soon.

The condo was perfect for the (3) couples. The kitchen was a great size and the heated flooring was a special treat. We all drew numbers on the bedrooms and I won the master lol. Thanks for a wonderful experience! We hope to be back soon. Read more
I thought the person who did the work making the reservation automatically got the master - good for you. And glad you all had a good experience.

The Telluride Lodge is right where advertised- VERY conveniently located at the foot of lift 7 (our unit was a ~100 yd walk). It is also almost attached to a grocery store and just a 5 min walk from the main area of the town amenities of restaurants, etc. The Lodge management was great. We had some issues with our Unit 333 (see below), but onsite staff was extremely responsive and polite. I would stay there again, but likely a different unit.
Our unit was not ready for prime time as a rental. It was nice/clean and was 3 BR and slept 5-6 as advertised. But for 5 or 6, we found, 1) the kitchen to be small and under supplied (there were only about 3 drinking glasses and 6 forks), 2) one small TV underserved the group, 3) no ski/boot storage, as owner kept ski closet locked, 4) the hot water heater broke 2x; Lodge maintenance reacted quickly to repair both times (including after hours), but they indicated the unit was at risk of more error, 5) tiny dining table.
Despite this, again, we would highly recomment Telluride Lodge and would suggest that this unit would be quite satisfactory with some relatively easy upgrades/upfittng. Read more
The condo has since had a new flat screen TV added to the living room, and the other TV installed in the first bedroom. We have had no issues with the hot water in the last 6 months. The kitchen inventory is back up to standard. There is still a relatively small dining table, and the downstairs entry is the best location for ski gear, where there is a boot bench just inside the door.
Thanks for the feedback - improving all the time......
