Overlooking the San Miguel River, this 2-bedroom condo is located at the Bear Creek Trailhead, close to historic downtown, Town Park, free Gondola, and lift #8.
Bedding: King bed, 2 double beds and a twin trundle.
Riverside C102 is a two bedroom/two bathroom hillside condominium with an entry just a few steps down from the parking lot level. You enter the unit and step into the living room and kitchen. The living room is spacious and open to dining and kitchen, with a sofa, large ottoman, and love seat around the gas fireplace and sliding glass doors that open to a private covered deck. There is a 42-inch flatscreen TV on the wall above the fireplace, cable, Blu-ray DVD player, and a good selection of books to browse. The deck offers views of the town and valley, across the wetlands and river trail.
The newly renovated kitchen has granite counter tops and full-sized stainless steel appliances, including range with a radiant cook-top. There's a toaster, blender, and even the traditional breadbox. The breakfast counter has 4 stools for casual seating, with the dining table that seats 8 in the adjacent space.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are located down a hall from the living room. The master bedroom has a king bed and large, wall-mounted flat screen TV (with HDMI port). The en-suite bathroom has a shower/tub combo with oversize tub in a custom-tile surround, and granite counter-top vanity. Views from the master bed take in the nearby hillside and riparian space.
The second bedroom, to the right on the hall, has 2 double beds and a twin trundle. The bathroom has a steam shower in a custom stone tile enclosure with 6-inch step-in and glass door, and granite counter-top vanity. This bathroom is accessible from the hall.
There is a private stack washer/dryer in the hall closet, wifi (router is in the unit), and ski locker just outside the entry.
Parking is an open lot (permit only) available on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is a small bike rack in the lot. The complex has two outdoor hot tubs with glass enclosures, to better enjoy the views. No pets, no grills, per HOA rules.
Downtown Telluride, gondola and Chair 8 are all within two blocks of Riverside. Hike up Bear Creek to the waterfalls, or enjoy the river trail just outside. This is the BEST location for music festivals in Town Park, a block away.

Hi - The condo was clean, spacious, and fully stocked. It was very comfortable. I loved having a washer and dryer in the room - didn't take any dirty clothes home at all. The only downside was the patio did not face the river. I enjoyed our stay and will stay there again.
We thank you for taking the time to review this condo. We hope to see you again in Telluride!

This was my fifth trip to Telluride, but the first time staying in a condo. My husband enjoys fly fishing and I like to hike. This complex is steps from the river and the trail head to Bear Creek falls. It's an easy stroll to restaurants, the gondola, & shopping.
The condo was spacious and clean with an updated kitchen and baths. There were large flat screen tvs in both the family room and master bedroom. My only complaint is the living area felt dark, with no overhead lighting. While the view from the deck wasn't spectacular, it was nice to sit and watch people walking and biking the river trail.
We had a great week and hopefully will visit again next year!
Thank you for your feedback. We will let the owner know about the lack of lighting in the living area.
We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay.

Riverside C102 is a nicely finished 2BR condo along the San Miguel River in historic Telluride. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated with quality cabinets, countertops and tile. The condo unit was clean and quiet, though it could have used some more silverware. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. The north facing deck overlooks the river and the trail, and is a pleasant place to enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. Just two blocks from the free Gondola, and 3 blocks from the main street (Colorado), the condo is very convenient to shops, restaurants, the gondola, etc. Immediate access to the walking/biking trail that runs along the river from the west edge of town to the Bridal Veil Falls, an easy bike ride or walk. Bear Creek trailhead is right out the door of the condo, a beautiful hike above town to a waterfall and great views. Dinner at Smugglers, with a great selection of beers and pub food; fish & chips and burgers were great. Dinner at Rustico was good, with excellent service; the seafood fettucine was spicy and excellent, though the wines are a bit pricey. We enjoyed a classy breakfast at the New Sheridan. Dinner at La Marmotte offers terrific French cuisine in a cozy, rustic setting, with personal attention from the owners, Mairen and her husband, Mark, who is the chef. The Friday farmer's market is not to be missed, with great selections of local produce, meats, wines, prepared foods, crafts, etc. The only negative of our stay was a water leak through the dining room ceiling from an apparent sink backup in the unit above, which was immediately attended to by the condo management. They responded promptly, and were very considerate in their handling of the issue. There was construction going on in the unit next door, but we were out and about during the days, so it did not bother us. We are planning to return to Telluride next summer, and will definitely consider Riverside for our accommodations.
Sounds like you had a great vacation! We are happy to hear how much you enjoyed the town just as much as the condo.
We hope to welcome you back to Telluride in the near future.

We loved the Riverside condo we stayed at recently. The location was perfect - beautiful views of the trees & mountains, but just four blocks from the main street. The beds are comfortable and having two bathrooms was ideal. The kitchen is lovely; it has the basics (only one teaspoon!). Although the tv quit working the second day, the staff was very responsive & got someone out right away to get it working. The key to the hottub was not easy to find, and we spent quite a bit of time looking for it which was frustrating. We'd recommend having it laid out on the kitchen counter or hanging from a visible keyrack. Great place!

Located close to town and restaurants this was a spacious and clean condo. We were there to hike (and eat!)and were close to several spectacular trails accessed both on foot and by car. It was steps from town and the gondola to the mountain village. Good beds, ammenities, big deck and nice view to town. We could see the sun rising on the peaks as we woke!

We have stayed in three other alpine lodgings and with other people. We enjoyed C102 for its roominess/two bathrooms and it allowed us to entertain Telluride family for dinner. The master bed was very comfortable. Also love having washer and dryer.
We like the ease in checking in and the arranged later check out. C102 could use some pot holders and more dishcloths/towels and a baking sheet with sides on it-also a larger salad bowl for tossing salad.
