The only property in Telluride spread over five acres in a park-like setting! You can feel the love for Telluride that this condo has experienced through the years.
Bedding: Queen Bed, 2 Twin Beds, King Bed.
The decor here is a shabby chic - retaining its special ski condo character in a classy way.
You enter the unit and go down a half-flight to the kitchen and living room with gas fireplace, flat screen TV/DVD/VHS player, and boombox. Off the living room is the large deck and views toward the ski area. The dining area seats 6, with an additional fold-away table stashed in the kitchen. The kitchen is open to the main room.
Downstairs a half flight you'll find the first bedroom with two twin beds and TV. The second bedroom, also on this level, has a king bed and a TV and VHS player. There is a bathroom on this level accessible from the hallway with shower only. Down another half-flight is a suite with a Queen bed, gas fireplace, TV/DVD/VHS player, washer/dryer, wet bar, mini-frig, microwave and full bath with oversize jetted tub and shower. This ground floor bedroom has it's own exterior entrance (no key provided, unlock from inside) for those who like a little independence even when they're sharing the vacation.
Ski storage is available in a hallway closet by the main entry. There is an interconnecting door that can be opened (upon request) to unit #338 above. This condo does not provide internet.
The outdoor and indoor hot tubs and steam room were completed in Nov. 2010 and enjoy full views of the ski area as well as surrounding mountains. Parking at Telluride Lodge is outdoor and is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Stairs down from the deck give you access to the grassy commons, with gas grills and picnic tables.
To the north of the complex is the grocery store, high school, Palm Theatre. To the south just across the street is the San Miguel River and the base of Lift #7 (Coonskin Lift). The free in-town shuttle has stops on both side of the Telluride Lodge, and downtown or Gondola is a 5-10 minute walk.

This condo was in a great location for us, as my husband was attending a meeting which was right across the street. Getting into Telluride itself was very easy from this location. However, our condo unit was changed when we checked in and was not the one we expected to have (one fewer bathrooms). The entry code given to us at check in was incorrect and we spent a lot of time trying to get that straightened out. The stove in the unit had a defective burner; it was replaced half way through our stay so we did without. The bedrooms, esp. the one in the basement, seemed a bit musty, but we opened windows to deal with that. For the price things could have been better.
