Step into this bright and spacious contemporary mountain home and you will be struck by the high-end finishes, such as wood floors, travertine bathroom tiles and a built-in sound system throughout. The three-sided gas fireplace can be enjoyed from the great room, the dining table which seats eight, and the gourmet kitchen. This impressive kitchen has countertops, two Bosch dishwashers, a Subzero refrigerator/freezer and a separate Subzero wine cooler. The stainless steel Wolf double oven has six gas burners, a griddle, a grill and spaghetti pot filler faucet. There is also a microwave which doubles as a warming drawer. French doors open from each side of the great room; on one side is a patio, on the other side is a deck with views of Wilson Peak. The cozy sitting area adjacent to the kitchen has a flat screen TV. Also on this floor are a half-bath and a full laundry room with front loading machines.
The first master suite is on this level. It is complete with king bed, gas fireplace, flat screen TV, huge closet area and its own washer/dryer. The en suite bathroom has a long vanity with double sinks and a steam shower large enough for two, with two rain shower heads. Sliding doors open to reveal a deck with beautiful views.
On the lower level, two flights down is the second master suite with a king bed and gas fireplace. It too, has sliding doors that open onto a deck. In summer, the Aspen trees offer privacy; in winter, the views will be exposed. The en suite bathroom is a replica of the one in the other master suite.
The bunk room has four twins and one full bed. The bathroom has a large tub for soaking and a rain shower head. To accommodate all the guests in the bunk room, there is a half-bath as well.
The star of this lower level is the game room with an 80” projection TV, billiards table and a full kitchen with microwave, Subzero refrigerator/freezer and Bosch dishwasher. There is also a nursery on this floor with a true crib.
The fourth and fifth bedroom suites each have a queen bed and a shower with rain shower heads.
The second star on this lower level is the “party” steam room/shower. With two levels of benches, most everyone in the house can take a steam together!
There is a spacious mudroom that accesses the outside via a set of stairs. From there, it is only one-tenth of a mile to the gondola and the village core. The garage can house one car and there is room for three cars to park outside.
Overlook Haus would be a wonderful home base from which to experience the beauty and grandeur of Telluride.

This place is great!! Is close to mountain village which was wonderful because we didn't have a car. We have a 2 year old and a 7 month old and found this place very kid friendly but still really nice. Telluride rentals did an amazing job of taking care if everything for us - groceries, arranging rides, ect. I would absolutely rent this place again and always use telluride rentals!
We are so pleased to hear you had a wonderful time and thank you for staying with us.
We hope to see your family again.

We rented Overlook Haus for a week over the fourth of July for a family vacation. There were four families, two with children and two without. The two master suites were perfect for the families with children. We loved the home and only had a couple complaints. First, the giant downstairs TV did not work the entire time we were there, disappointing for the kids. Also, none of the windows and doors had screens, so it was impossible to keep out the mosquitoes. Other than that, the home provided everything else you need. We spent many nights cooking wonderful dinners in the well-appointed kitchen. It is a beautiful home in the perfect location.
Thank you for staying at Overlook! I apologize that the projector bulb burned out in the middle of your stay... due to our remote location, the special bulb had to be ordered and did not arrive until your check-out. It has been replaced and is now working. We hope you can make it back next year and we are happy to offer a 10% discount for the inconvenience.

The house was clean and beautiful! The location was great, however, with little ones in the winter, it was difficult to walk to ski school. A sidewalk in the back leading to the road would have made it a little easier. It was difficult to make a path through the snow. Once we did, it was a little easier to walk. Overall, we loved staying at the overlook haus. It was a great place.

House was great - few things needed fixing (pool table, disposal, lights replaced) but that got done quickly. Little strange that such a big house did not have a place where more than 6 people could gather or a hot tub. Great and well-equipped kitchen, sound system, lighting, views, two master bedrooms with incredible bathrooms. Convenient to gondola - just drop out of the back of the house and walk a couple of hundred yards.
