“You are here,” reads the doormat outside this slopeside condo. “Greetings from the West” welcomes a plaque, just inside. Both signs speak to the cozy Western hospitality found within this one-bedroom property.
The great room features a wood-paneled wall, a leather armchair, sueded sofa, modular bookshelf and wood-burning stove. Side tables stand atop denim- and cowboy-boot-clad legs. A flat screen TV/DVD/VHS player and stereo system encourages relaxing. An antique sleigh and painted saw complement the array of valley-inspired art. The dining table seats four in armchairs beneath a glass chandelier. Valley views are framed by a wall of windows.
A carved bear lounges atop the cut-through to the kitchen. An antique replica telephone – in working order – hangs nearby. Tile countertops line the kitchen with its blue accent wall, dark wood cabinets and double sink.

"Crazy stairs, no closet space, unfriendly shuttle bus drivers"
Left on 01/22/2014 for a stay in January 2014 | REBMOUNTAINReviewed Jan 22, 2014Stayed Jan 2014
We thought the rental company was top of the line. Fast and friendly.
The condo was nuts walking down two flights of stairs to then go up three flights. Snow covered made it a little scary.
The condo was one bedroom with the vacuum, old TV. And other junk in the only closet. Nasty to try and hang your cloths in a closet with a Stinky vacuum. We needed every inch of space to put our cloths.
The shuttle bus driver with the cowboy hat was a crab, after loading he told us how hard it was to pick us up going down hill. The day before I asked him where to be and he was not too clear. We were told to ride the white bus, after being left in down town Jackson in the cold returning two hours later to the village, we now understand that there are two white busses. Your bus drivers may like to shout out Befroe they head to town , making sure his riders are going to the correct destination. The front of the bus going to Jackson simply said "express". When we got into Jackson I told this driver we needed to be in the village, he told us to get off his bus and wait across the street for a blue line bus, hour later arriving in the village I see that bus and same driver there. He could have kept us warm and returned to the village on his bus.

Location: good location if you want to explore just Teton National Park but most tourist come for Yellowstone whose nearest entrance is approx 100 miles away which I did not know.
Service: During my stay of 3 nights no house keeping was offered. There were two routers in my room but wifi never worked. The kitchen is well equipped though. Heating is moderate but winter tourist may find it difficult.
Your sleep is entirely dependent on the neighbour's nocturnal habits as even a minor shuffle next door can be heard and felt.
We are so sorry to hear your sleep was less than exceptional due to neighbor's shuffling about. I am also sad to learn that your internet did not work during your stay. We have a team of maintenance professionals who would have been able to correct the internet issue had we known the wireless internet was not working properly for you. I appreciate your kind words on location and close proximity to Grand Teton National Park and the entrance to Yellowstone National Park which is approximately 60 miles. Our staff strives to make our guest's experience as memorable as possible so I am pleased to hear they were cordial and helpful.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback.

"Unit was on 4th floor requiring the use of many stairs each day."

The WiFi in tsb13 did not work. Only a second of access even after resetting the modem and unplugging & replugging the unit. For 2 seniors (66 & 74 yrs old) from Louisiana (@ sea level) carrying 70 lb suitcases up and down 4 flights of stairs was not a good experience. Then we had to negotiate 4 flights of stairs several times a day. Other than that the unit was comfortable. Good location allowing us to walk to the lifts (left ski equipment @ rental center) & restaurants. On our next stay I will request a unit on a lower level.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with such an honest review of your most recent stay in Tensleep B13. I sincerely apologize your internet was not up to par for your stay in March. Our team of maintenance professionals have inspected the wireless router in that particular condo and we have taken the necessary steps to insure this amenity is working at its full potential for future guests. I am also sorry to learn you had to climb several flights of stairs daily. We do have many other properties that do not require stairs when entering and leaving your property. I would love to extend a return guest rate to you upon your next visit to Jackson Hole and we will be sure to find a property that does not have as many stairs for you. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the location of this condo and all of the activities and dining options right outside your front door.
We hope to see you in Jackson Hole again!
