The vacation condo was nice, clean and convenient. It was a short drive to Grand Teton National park by Wilson road (about 2 miles to the park entrance). Teton Village had several good restaurants that were walking distance from the condo. There are a lot of activities in Teton Village - mountain biking, hiking, riding the aerial tram. Jackson is only a 20 minute drive away. The location in Teton Village is ideal for exploring the area.
The condo itself was well equipped and comfortable. Check in and out was easy. View was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots etc. There were spices left by other guests, which was great for cooking!
The only downside is that the unit does not have AC and it was hot when we were there. It cools off at night, but the master bedroom only had a sliding door without a screen so it was hard to cool the room off. There were fans though.

If planning a stay during the summer, be advised that the unit is not air conditioned. When we were there in late July, temperatures indoors remained close to 80 degrees until about 10 PM. The master BR door does not have a screen so bugs flew in while we left it open to help cool down. The other doors did have screens, but no locks on them. Therefore the unit was essentially unlocked as we left these open to draw cooler air in during the evening.

The condo itself was comfortable but is showing signs of needing maintenance. The weekly spa service was not sufficient, with chlorine gone with days to go and low water level. The bedroom heating was noisy with continuous expansion and contraction noise, until we worked out how to keep it warm enough from living heaters and have bedroom basically turned off.
On arrival, the person checking us in suggested we could get a delayed checkout as there was no one coming in on the same day, however when calling as suggested I got very officious person who insisted any delay would be at $50 per hour. Not good to create expectations and then respond like this.

Good: Hot tub, spacious and kitchen well equipped with full sized washer and dryer.
Bad: must have 4 wheel drive-they don't clear the street. Yucky old carpet (even in guest bath), mildew in showers (I have sinus issues and wasn't pleasant). Negatives could be fixed with $2000 upgrade to place making it fabulous. However, I rent from individuals on Vrbo 2, 3 times a year and I wouldn't rent again because the rental company was awful. Made 2 phone calls, neither problem addressed. Woman actually blamed me for the problem not be taken care of because I didn't ask for the lady's name who said would "take care of it." Plenty of other places to rent.

We had a great time at Eagles Rest 2. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the condo was very spacious for us and our two college age boys. We walked to the teton village many times since it was a bit faster than waiting for the bu.

Our Condo was very nice! It had everything we needed to feel at home. The location was perfect. Real close to the Grand Teton National Park and also the Pass to go over into Idaho. The drive from Jackson Hole out to Teton Village was beautiful. Not too far, but far enough to be out of the craziness of the town. I would definitely stay here again. Dana Goodwin

This is our second year in a row renting this condo. The service by Jackson Hole Real Estate Co. is excellent. They see that your hot tub is clean and even that you have gas in the grill. Best thing about this condo is its location - about 1 mile from Grand Teton National Park! In addition, pool and tennis courts are located across the street and you can walk to Teton Village. Our family of four enjoyed the space to spread out, the deck that overlooks the mountains, and the ability to cook our dinners in the well-equipped kitchen.

Bad first impression...weeds over grown over sidewalk into condo. No aC (common), but no screens on doors to open place up to cool off at night. There's only a sliding door in master, bugs would come in. Carpet dirty. Carpet in bathrooms and around toilet (enough said)! I'm 5'2" and needed to duck due to low shower head (& husband is 6'4"!). Curtains in master covered with dust. Studio guests placed trash in bin in our patio area, to the point of overflowing, 3 days before trash day. Not only the smell was bad but we were concerned about attracting bears! Not a bear proof can
Positive...plenty of linens and kitchen fully stocked
Checked in "after hours" (8pm). Man from hotel, which he covers when regular office is closed, was rude. Plus we had to drive all the way back to the office to return keys, which is through Jackson and not on our route.

We had a blast here. Away from the craziness of The Jackson Hole area but close to the Tetons park, truly a piece of heaven. Enjoyed watching the hummingbirds while sitting out back. Would go back in a heart beat. My only complaint was the carpets were stained. Also we had some warm days, ceiling fans or air conditioning would have been very welcome.

We stayed at eagles Rest 2 for 8 nights with our boys, age 9 and 11. The condo. was perfect for us. We had a lot of day trips planned and wanted to sleep in the same bed for the whole trip. We loved cooking and having dinner out on the patio with a view of Sleeping Indian. My boys loved the hot tub also. We enjoyed walking to/from the heart of the village. My boys loved exploring on their own a little. Beds were comfortable, plenty of linens available, kitchen was well equipped for cooking in. The rental agency was very quick to respond with any question/request we had during our stay. We had access to tennis/pool club behind the condominiums ,but we never even walked over to it.
"Nice place to stay if visiting Grand Teton National Park"

We were visiting Grand Teton National Park primarily to do day hikes and observe / photograph its wildlife. We also took a guided horseback ride and a whitewater raft trip. This property gave us good access to all of the activities we had planned. It was well appointed and spaceous and we loved the hottub for relaxing after long days on the trails.
"Comfortable but bathrooms and ventilation are the weak links."

We found the two bedroom Eagles Rest 2 to be nicely decorated and a perfect size for four people to relax after long days touring the Tetons and Yellowstone. The furniture was ample and comfortable. The kitchen was adequate as we were not preparing meals, just breakfast and snacks. The washer and dryer worked well also.
Now for the bathrooms. The master bath consisted of an outer area with a sink/mirror and a large counter. The inner room jammed a toilet and a tub into the smallest space possible. It was difficult to step into the area and close the door behind you without either straddling the toilet or stepping into the tub. A very tight fit.
The guest bath was similarly small with a surprisingly large shower. Unfortunately signs of mildew around the tile in that shower made it less than desirable.
A final thought revolved around the lack of any kind of central fan or air conditioning. We know that most units in Teton Villiage are not air conditioned and that the cool evenings make it possible to cool off after sundown. The array of box and oscillating fans that we found packed away in closets made it possible to find some relief to an unusually warm week in the Hole, but it was impossible to ventilate most of the unit without leaving doors open/unlocked at night. Things got pretty stuffy by morning. If you can't open and secure windows to ventilate you are forced to leave doors open/unlocked or close up and wake up very hot in the morning. Even ceiling fans would have been a help, but they did not exist.
These are probably not problems much of the year, but they made our week somewhat uncomfortable.
