The house was perfect - 1 BR with private bath for each couple, plus a room with 1 queen and 1 bunk bed that was just made for the 4 grandchildren. Everything we needed was in the house and items were replenished when we asked. The main issue was a toilet that wasn't working the first night - very inconvenient for the unlucky couple who had to come upstairs. There were a couple of minor issues such as a loose faucet, burnt out light bulbs, wiggly toilet seats, missing stopper in the MBR sink. Some of the workmanship was shoddy, a surprise in such a lovely house. Aside from these issues, our stay was excellent and we would definitely recommend the house to friends!

This house has everything that we look for in a ski rental: lots of room, huge fireplace, great furnishings, hot tub, and very close to the slopes and bars/restaurants. I've been doing trips to WY, CO, UT, BC, etc for 20 years and this was the best all-around house I've rented. Highly recommended.

10 of us stayed in this house and had a great family ski vacation over the course of 9 days. The house is very nice, comfortable, and very well laid out for family gatherings. The family room is great. Practically a ski in/ski out. Just cross the street, put on the skis, and walk a few yards to the slope. You can ski back to the street. My son would ski all the way back to the house. If I had to nitpick the house, there were several non critical things broken like lamp fixtures in the kids room, shelves in the fridge, window shades in the master bathroom, etc. Also, several of the kitchen utensils you expect to have were missing like measuring spoons, cups, etc. Small stuff, but details like this keep my rating from being an excellent 5 star rating. Also, the garbage bins were left full of garbage from the previous tenants when we arrived, so for 4 days until "garbage day"came, the garage accumulated with garbage bags on floor. Overall the house is fantastic for a family gathering.
“Our wedding week lodging for our family at the Cottage Wood home”

The cottage wood home was great for our 16 person getaway. Everyone had a place to sleep, and was very comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything. We cooked everyday of our week long stay. The place needs a bigger refrigerator or another one. We had to put drinks out on the deck, which was fine because it got cold at night. The kitchen was big so lot of cooks could work at the same time. The deck was nice and big with a couple of barbecues, charcoal or gas. That was nice. The fireplace was great at night and easy-to-use. One thing though, I thought it was more spread out in the sitting family area and was just a little smaller than what I imagined from the pictures. But it didn't cramp our style at all. Also the rec room is cool but the Foos ball table being nailed into the floor is kind of a bummer because that could be used for space for someone to sleep. It would be great if that was gone. One of the best things about this place is the number of bathrooms if you have a lot of people. That really helped!! If you're looking for a view of the Teton's or any place else in the valley, unfortunately you won't get that. It's nestled in the forest and with all the trees, (which is great)but there's absolutely no view of anything. Value-wize... It was all that we could ask for and it was so close to the Village. The entrance to the parks were very close that we wanted to visit too. The maintenance people showed up when they were supposed to. We did have some minor things that we had to check on like the hot tub etc. But they took care of it. The women in the office were great! Don't mind their overly casual attitude, They will help you and they were great.
We definitely would stay there again for the value and the place itself.
