“Wonderful river view and excellent service!” Sawasdee Jaoo, (Chiangmai greeting) We would like to share our unforgettable memory in Chiangmai, especially Baan Cheep Chang where we stayed for our recent trip. My wife and I had a wonderful time together cerebrating her birthday and I invited my wife's family which live in Chiangmai to have dinner, the first word they said while walking into the house "Wow" even if they are local people but still amazed! The people here were so kind and nice to us, we had all local food either cooked or arranged by them, fantastic. Surely we will return again soon. “Great value, comfortable accommodation” We really enjoyed our week's stay at Galae Thong. The agent who we booked with was extremely accommodating and helpful, even though we had to change our dates and room configuration sever times this was handled politely and efficiently. The apartment, though compact for a family of four, served us very well and we enjoyed our breakfasts in the cafe downstairs. The staff at reception and in the cafe were really friendly and we really appreciated the convenience of the 24hr shop, the cafe and the excellent laundry service. A couple of small details that could have been slightly better from a family point of view: the glass table top was easy to dislodge from it's legs and our 2 year old came rather close to smashing it. A few areas of wear and tear, eg to paintwork and grouting were in evidence, but didn't affect out enjoyment in any way. The kitchen was superbly equipped with gadgets but was lacking a couple of more basic items such as a bottle opener. All in all, I'd highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering visiting Chiang Mai.

“Great house and great service” We stayed for a week in early January and were very happy with our stay. We had been travelling a lot before we reached Chiang Mai and wanted somewhere comfortable to relax. Positives: The house is very spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped. Tom, our driver, was very helpful and always in good humour. The swimming pool in the complex is lovely and we had it to ourselves most of the time. The owner is exceptionally helpful and was very quick to respond to any queries. (My son left his watch behind when we left and he very kindly posted it back to us in Ireland.) Downsides: The house is about 20 minutes drive from Chiang Mai, so you miss the buzz of being in the City. The complex itself is a gated community typical of many upmarket Western cities. It seemed a bit lacking in character and didn't offer any opportunities to meet local Thai people.
