"The Cape is Phuket's most elegant private community, set on a wooded peninsula overlooking the soaring limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay. World-leading designer Philippe Starck and visionary architect Jean-Michel Gathy, well known for his work with Aman resorts, have created a villa development that includes elegant private residences with private access to a variety of luxury services."
The combined talents of two of the world's most famous designers have produced a stunning contemporary villa that retains key elements of traditional Thai architecture. Approximately 650 sqm of internal space have been created to complement the stunning topography of the site. The villa sits on its own plot of land measuring an average of 1 acre (2.5 rai or 4,000 sqm) of almost entirely waterfront land, providing the ultimate peace and privacy.
The Fourth Villa at Cape Yamu, on a secluded east coast peninsula of Phuket, has spectacular views across the Andaman Sea and the ancient limestone karsts of the UNESCO protected Phang Nga Bay. The Bay, made famous by James Bond's Man With The Golden Gun includes hundreds of islands, most of them forested, uninhabited and ringed by coral reefs making for excellent cruising, diving and exploration days within these protected, ecologically significant waters. Trips can be arranged.
Seventy per cent of Phuket consists of protected mountainous areas. The island was originally forested, providing excellent habitat for elephants and gibbons, which can now be seen in special sanctuaries
Once an important stopping point on the ancient seafaring routes between India and China, Phuket today is home to a combination of races and religions. This has created a unique local culture of Chinese festivals, Sino-Portuguese architecture and Malaysian Muslim cuisine.
Phuket is one of the most accessible beach destinations in Asia. Modern Thailand meets ancient Thai culture within an area carefully conserved for its ecological riches.
Tranquil, calm and utterly beautiful, the Yamu peninsula is a sanctuary of peace and seclusion on Phuket's tranquil east coast. Gorgeous views and three kilometers of beachfront lie in lush natural surroundings. Unrivalled sunsets, an inspiring sunrise and a 180 degree panorama reflecting the moods of the sea and subtle changes of light. Perfectly relaxing.
Incredible secluded, yet still in touch with the world, Phuket's leisure options are close by. Savour delicious seafood at fine restaurants in Surin. Stay toned at a yoga class. Catch the buzz at Bangtao's chic bars and enjoy a challenging game of golf at a premier course with records by Tiger Woods. Just 15 minutes from The Cape.
Surrounded by water, exploring the ocean is part of the lifestyle. Stunning Phang Nga Bay - with fascinating limestone islands stretching into the horizon, isn't just a phenomenal view from The Cape, it's easily accessible.
High on the "A list" of Asia's sailing destinations, Phang Nga's coves, limestone caves and hidden anchorages make brilliant cruising.
The Cape. A unique lifestyle in a unique destination.

Gorgeous Villa, beautiful views out to sea over the infinity pool. The villa is beautifully furnished for absolute comfort during your stay and has a maid who cooks the best thai green curry and stir fry I have ever had!
It is a really good location - close to the marina and just at the bottom of the complex it is possible to get taxi's around Phuket and longboats out to all the small islands nearby at a great price. There is tennis courts and a lovely restaurant called Breeze within the complex - the food at the restaurant is great and they also do lovely cocktails, very reasonably priced!
I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone!
