Additional Location Information

Within walking distance of 100% Local are eateries and bars where guests can socialize with the locals and dance to island music. On-de-Rocks, Everett's Pelican Beach Bar and Mutt's Falcon's Nest are very popular where both locals and visitors like to gather on the beach. If you visit late March to early April, you can enjoy the wildly popular 3-day Festival Del Mar.
In Island Harbour there are 2 churches: Baptist and Anglican. For quick, last-minute food shopping, a few small convenience stores are within walking distance. Otherwise, Anguilla has several "super" markets to which you must drive, but where, with a bit of "hunting and gathering", a savvy shopper should find just about everything.
Speaking of walking, a car is essential for exploring Anguilla. There is no reliable public transport. We will be happy to arrange for a car rental in advance of yo ur arrival. For the occasional traveler who is not comfortable with Anguilla's "stay-on-the-left" requirement, we could also provide our own driving service for a reasonable fee.
