We took our children and a friend to the cottage. It was in a beautiful area, pretty secluded. Must sees are Singing Sands (nearby), The Grotto and Flowerpot Island (pack a lunch and a suit!). Cabin was a little tight for our group, but everyone had a bed. Well kept kitchen and nice bathrooms. There were a good number of wood roaches, but they are in most of the homes up there. They didn't really bother us, other than being in the cabin. The firepit was close and the lake is just down the path. It is very rustic - no phone, no TV, no internet. That wasn't a problem-surprisingly! Our cell phones did not get reception (we are from USa) which was a little inconvenient at times. (We had to take our 1 yr old to the hospital in Lion's Head in the middle of the night with a fever.) We are planning on going back to Tobermory with our extended family in the next few years but will probably go with something a little more modern.
One of the things we liked about the description was the Gazebo, but it was filled with lots of odds and ends. We decided to just have our meals inside at the nice large dining table.

The cottage is in a very quiet location, with a huge area of Lake Huron shoreline immediately outside. The cottage is precisely as shown -- it is not a large house, but there is plenty of common space for 6-7 people. It was perfect for my family group of 3 adults and 4 teenagers. The kitchen is modern and easy to cook in.
The bedrooms are clean and a bit small, but functional. My only negative comment is with the beds. Clearly these have seen better days, and are very bowed and difficult for adults to sleep on. If new box spring/mattresses were obtained, I would rank this as one of the best cottages on the Bruce!
