The cottage was super clean and very well stocked. The location was horrible. The add stated it was close to beaches but the beach was a twenty minute drive and the second beach was fifteen minutes past that. There was not much to see or do for us, unless we wanted to hike, which is too difficult with a three year old. Also, all the waterfront is private property so not much chance to see the water unless you drove to the hiking park or down to the little town. Nothing else to do in Tobermory.

Our family of 5 stayed in this cottage in aug 2013. It was very clean and spacious, and close to the downtown core of Tobermory (we walked in daily). The cottage is very private, and everything you need for your stay is provided. We drove to all swim locations but you could walk to the local 'water hole' (just over 1km), however this swim location is not great for young children (very rocky and more difficult to navigate) - we loved it but we have older children. Internet was available but did go down every night around 9pm until the next morning. One minor complaint would be the bed in the main floor bedroom. The mattress is extra hard, and we actually prefer a firm mattress. If I rented here again I would bring a foam topper.
"Very good cottage - clean, comfortable and nice location"

The cottage was exactly as advertised.. rooms were nice size and very clean... good size living room and kitchen... the owner has made sure that all small little things are there from kitchen condiments to movie Dvds to laundry detergents to even pack of cards...would have been excellent if the beds were more comfy (kids bunk bed is fine)... and if there was a hot tub or pool ...it has a nice deck and good BBQ...
Only negative experience was that the hot water stopped working.. the owner though came and fixed it the same day by changing the fuse but it seemed like a common problem faced by some previous guests as well (based on the feedback found in the reviews left by previous guests)

Me and my family had an awesome time at this cottage. We are usually a family that loves camping, but after staying here, I think I've switched over to a cottage getaway(er). This cottage is very private yet close enough to walk to the Tobermory Hub. Convenience is a must for us since we have 3 kids. Inside the cottage, I was very impressed on how clean it was. All housewares and cleaning products were available (although we had to replenish a few). Just to sum it up- love this cottage and we would definitely consider renting it again!

Our family spent the week of aug 18 to aug 25th at this cottage. Upon arrival we found it to be left very clean. It is a lovely place with a private location. Great private yard with a fire pit to enjoy. Beautiful deck with a BBQ to use. It was fully equiped with washer, dryer, dishwasher, satellite tv, and more. The owners even welcomed our Bernese Mountain Dog who thouroughly enjoyed the outdoors. Very private yet close enough to town to walk. All the ameneties like a grocery store and a lovely bakery on highway 6 were close by. We did some scuba diving in Tobermorry which was conveniently close to this cottage. I found the basement level to smell a bit musty and the bed on the lower left was not comfortable. My dog and elderly father could not manouver the spiral staircase from the upper to lower level but that was a minor inconvenience. They just went outside and up the stairs on the large deck above. Overall, we loved this place and wouldn't hesistate to return here for future vacations.
"Very nice setting and close to Downtown of Tobermory"

Small , nice and cozy , excellent for 2 person in love to go away.
Not many trials around but for that you can always go to either to
Cyprus Park , Emmet Lake or other places along Bruce .
Looking forward to rent it again.
